Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

I frowned, considering.

"Well. Toot-Toot and the other little folk are alright. They're not manipulative. All they want is pizza every now and then."

[Pao-Lin frowns, looking down at the ground in thought. She doesn't know a lot about faery lore, so she'd just imagined them as little people with wings. She's considering Harry's words. She didn't realize faeries ate pizza!]

Well...I've only worked with Nala so far, but she's been nice to me. And so far none of the other people I've talked to about the filial spirits have said they're bad. [Admittedly, she hasn't really talked to as many people as she really should've; she's not too much an investigative sort.]

I'm still not going near 'em.

"Sides, I don't think I'll really need to deal with 'em myself. Somebody needs to heal me, I'll be grateful, whether they're using spirit magic, old-fashioned magic, the Force, or some kind of Health potion."

"You could say that, yeah."

Wow, that's really cool! There isn't anything like magic in my world. [Pause.] Well, people sometimes call our NEXT powers "magic", but I don't usually think of it that way...

Oh...really?! [Mr. Dresden, you are the coolest. Pao-Lin will no longer axe-murder you...for the moment.] That'd be great, I'd love to see that! But don't do it if it'd be a hassle or whatever.
