Yes, and it's a very nice treehouse. [Rue goes back to packing, throwing in a few more handwarmers for good measure.]

Kiddo, is everything alright? Did something happen? [Clearly there IS something wrong]

[Rue hesitates in telling him. He's been nice and friendly so far, but he's also like a Peacekeeper too. She finally decides to say it.] Katniss was being weird all week and I don't like it anymore, so I'm going back to the treehouse.

Rue, this is what the Malnosso call a Shift. Its where they mess with some people. My...rival...Lupin? He's been acting all weird too. Give it time and it'll pass. Promise.

You...just take care of yourself, OK? I'll come check on you from time to time, make sure you're doing alright. Wouldn't want to see a sweet kid like you getting hurt.
