3D stands for "three dimensional" - a threes dimensional object is something like you and me. Solid, tangible. [She stands to go draw a smilie face on a note pad on the desk and then hold it up] This face is two dimensional. It only exists on the flat paper.

The characters in manga or games are two dimensional. People in reality are three dimensional.

Does that make sense?

Well... we also saw a guy "break-dancing" with roller skates on his hands and elbows and head....

[She shrugged, a little ashamed of herself because of what she had assumed, but essentially... yeah, he shouldn't have said what he did.]

He should have warned me that was a problem before we got on the train.

[Maybe he would have if she'd gotten on with him? Or maybe not, as he was too busy doing a jig on her buttons.]

He's a guy, Katara. [She sighs, and shakes her head] Even if we're way stronger than him - I don't know if you are I just know you're strong so I'm assuming it's a possibility - he'd still want to be the one "protecting" you even if it's just to feed is own ego.

[She looks down soberly.]

Oh, I'm sure he would like that.

[...Haruhi shifts, now lean-sitting against the desk itself] I don't know the guy, so I can't know if that's him being sexist, or if it's just his pride. ...Or well, I guess manly pride is sexist, but we're raised to like it. Even I'm subject to it a bit.

That might be part of it, but... for him I think it's just... to be dependable, to be the one to protect someone he - cares - about would be a really big deal.

More like I wish he was able to be depended on. I think he's working on it, but I'm worried that the more pressure he puts on himself to do it, the harder it'll be for him.
