I don't know Don, I think you have me beat. Working in your lab so often.

I'll have you know Selphie thought my lab was fascinating. [For all the wrong reasons, but who needs to mention that.]

[fearless_leader]

She's only one person, she doesn't count.

[Don raises a brow at this logic.]

Are you implying you're more than one person, onii-san?

[fearless_leader]

Well, I am family. [Doesn't that make him more important?]

[Undoubtedly. But for purposes of the argument, Don doesn't have to admit it.]

Your math doesn't hold water, Leo. But your tea kettle does and it's boiling.

[fearless_leader]

[Leo just shakes his head, and turns his attention back to the kettle that's demanding his attention. He sets up the tea, and grabs two cups, before he walks back to the table with them and the kettle of tea.

He sets the cup down, going to pour the tea. He speaks, though he keeps his attention on the cups, so as to not over fill.]

But, to actually answer your question. No, I don't consider myself more than one person.

I'll cross multiple personality syndrome off your psych chart. [He takes the steaming cup and murmurs a thanks.] But we still have this worrying symptom of not sharing important information with your brother.

[fearless_leader]

Good, I have enough issues as it is.

[Leo sets down the kettle, and then sits down with his own cup. He stares at the dark liquid, before he looks back up at Don.]

Why is it important to you? It doesn't affect what happens here.

[Don sighs.]

Leo, I feel like 'family' is becoming just a word. We used to tell each other everything. Now we hardly talk...

[fearless_leader]

[Leo's silent for a bit, looking back to his tea. He had noticed too. Noticed how they were drifting apart. Becoming more distant. He closes his eyes with a sigh. He's angry with himself for letting it get this way.]

Than we should remedy it. [He opens his eyes again.] I don't want to lose the only brother I have here. [Robert and others might be getting close, but they'll never be one of Leo's true brothers.]

[Don lets out a breath. It's good to know Leo feels the same.]

Where do you go, when you aren't at home?

[fearless_leader]

Most recently, I've been trying to contact Hyt. The last month, I've been learning from it. [Hyt's the hardest to contact of the spirits. No surprise that it's taking a while.]

Outside of that. Training runs, or just training. [He wants to keep his moves sharp, his mind sharp.] Sometimes I go the library, or the tea house

You haven't contacted Faeren yet, have you? I've been thinking about trying that one next.

[fearless_leader]

[Leo takes a sip of his tea.]

No, not yet. I was thinking her, or Eferin next.

[Geez, Leo. Even with magic training you never take a break.]

We should go camping. Just us. For a few days.

[fearless_leader]

[What, this is good stuff to learn. Plus he took a four month break for winter.]

I'd like that. It's been a year since we've gone camping.

[i_speak_softly]

But - [A vague gesture.] Not just that. I want us to spend more time together, in a general way.

[fearless_leader]

[Leo nods in understanding, looking back at Don again. He knows what you mean Don.]

No, not anytime. Leo, do I have to ask?

[fearless_leader]

[He blinks, and then shakes his head.]

No, you don't have to ask.

[Don drinks his tea, his mind here but not. He's tired and overwhelmed and he doesn't know what he really wanted out of this conversation.]
