Summary: Something about the event really hit home. It's time to talk about it.

[Winry couldn't tell if she enjoyed that little time of thinking she lived in Sokka's world or not. In some ways she really enjoyed the experience, and felt closer to one of her best friends. In other ways it only cemented some ideas that had been clawing at the back of her mind. She needed to deal with them. Doubt, uncertainty, and fear kept her from doing so before. However she cannot put it off any longer. She wants to make a family. She wants to marry and have children, and she wants it soon. However Haruhi isn't nearly ready for that. She can tell. The air between them lately hasn't been the same, either, so perhaps it really is time. And as they walk back from a night date at Cloud Nine the two share an umbrella.
Winry thinks about how her shoes are lightly soaked as her conversation with Haruhi finds a lull. Now's her chance. She speaks up.]

Hey, Haruhi? Can I ask you something?

[godbent]

...Sorry, I guess.

[installing]

Thanks. [She knows it's probably not sincere, but it makes her feel a little better. The blond still doesn't look Haruhi in the face.]

[godbent]

Yeah.

[...Man she hopes Winry starts doing to talking before they get to the door of the house. Or well, the house]

[installing]

[Winry won't. She refuses to feel bad for finally making this decision. She feels that in the long run it'll be better for both of them.]

[godbent]

[Fine, then it's an uncomfortable silence all the way back. Haruhi sure has nothing to say. And she still feels miserable. She was sort of hoping that Winry would say something to make it better, but... Hell, what could make it better?]

[installing]

[When they reach the house Winry, out of habit, wraps her arms around Haruhi. But because her heart still aches she (without thinking) holds her closer / tighter than normal. I still love you.]

[godbent]

[What is she even supposed to feel at this? Life partner? That's shit. And the fact she can't even hold this against Winry makes it worse. The blonde's just going to drop her here and leave. Bah.

[installing]

[Winry's arms drop and she takes a step back. They're both still under the umbrella, and Winry grips the handle with both hands. She doesn't want to just leave it at this. She can't go home with Haruhi like this. But how is she supposed to make it better? Is there a way?]

I-is... there anything else I can do?

[godbent]

No.

[...guh. No, she can't just retreat and do nothing. That's what she always does, but she isn't going to survive this. At the house, she gets onto the porch, sits on the bench on it, and urges Winry to sit next to her]

...I don't know. Sit with me.

[installing]

[Winry does as the girl asks, and sit down on bench. The overhang protects them from the rain, so Winry closes the umbrella.]

[godbent]

[Haruhi closes her eyes, leaning back in the bench. She's so wet. And you know it's cold too. She holds up her left palm and mutters to herself. A small but warm fireball grows in it. to heat them up a little]

[installing]

[Winry's attention is drawn toward the ball of fire. It's warm, and nice.]

You're really good at that.

[godbent]

[Still with her eyes closed:] I'm getting there with teleporting too. Even if it sucks more.

[installing]

Teleporting? Really?

[godbent]

Yeah, since February.

[reoccurred]

That's [weird] neat.

[godbent]

[She would show off about it but... She doesn't have the heart for it. She sighs and begins to hum a Peter Gabriel song. What does she want to say...]

Would you still want to meet every Sunday?

[godbent]

Can you afford to?

[installing]

What do you mean "afford to"?

[godbent]

I mean do you need to do.. other... things, or something!

[installing]

What other things do I need to do that I can't do on any other days? I'm not going to just abandon you because we aren't girlfriends anymore.

I don't know, for all I know Good Spirits will start having Singles Night on Sundays.
