When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it
Where: All around the town square

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

"More than I thought I might, Jackie Dear." Yeah that's not going to stop anytime soon. At this point Adele likes it a bit. It suits him.

Jackie Dear. Oh what a shifted name. He doesn't really mind it, though; he owes her that much, probably.

"And which booth is yours, eh?"

[fleurdesel]

"I don't have one." Adele hadn't planned on it, not really. She was content to wander. "Though...I might be coerced into performing, later, if it's required that everyone offer something."

"Performing?"

[fleurdesel]

"I dance, Jackie Dear. Remember?"

[all7seas]

"So you're to dance for us? Dance for me now, then."

[fleurdesel]

"I've no music, nor am I dressed for it. Unless you're hiding a record player somewhere on your person as well as a pair of pointe shoes."

[all7seas]

"Nah, not hiding anything." Except...lots of other things. "You really need all that stuff? Can't just dance about without it?"

[fleurdesel]

"It's difficult to dance without music, Jack. It feels too mechanical to do so." Adele has had more than enough of acting the little windup doll anyway. "And the shoes are if I want to do any pointework."

"Me, I can dance with or without."

[fleurdesel]

"By all means, feel free to demonstrate."

[all7seas]

"What, with no tight shorts on?"

[fleurdesel]

"I assumed you meant dancing wherein you remained clothed." She sighs and massages her face with a hand.

[all7seas]

"....Oh. Nah; I'm not much in the mood to do that sort right now. Shell game hasn't been as successful as I'd hoped."

[fleurdesel]

"A lack of easy marks in the village?"

[all7seas]

"Nah. Everyone's skint broke, actually."

Forgive her while she cracks up over here for a moment, Jack.

[fleurdesel]

"Why, pray tell, are you so surprised by this? No one here has anything of value Jackie Dear."

[all7seas]

"That? Not true, lovely." He had the locket, after all; and that, to Jack, was worth more than everything in the village put together.

[fleurdesel]

"Nothing of value to anyone but themselves, I should say. And even then, perhaps not by much." She wipes at her eyes and looks back across, once more composed. "I did give you those rings after all."

[all7seas]

"Aye. And you'll be gettin' 'em back one day. I haven't forgotten it, woman."

[fleurdesel]

"They'll be of more use to you, Jackie. I've no one to share them with here, nor do I plan to be in a position to do so."

[all7seas]

"How, pray tell, will your rings be of use to me again?"

Apart from being sparkly? They were cursed. Jack was sure of it. Cursed by that D-word that Buffy hated so much.
