When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it
Where: All around the town square

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

Hey, I don't mind dressing like this! It's a neat part of my world's culture. The make-up is pretty sticky, but the clothes are comfy!

"Erm. Who are you, again, young crossdresser?"

Oh, I'm Robin! Well, not Robin. I'm Aang.

"Oh. OH. I see. Robin-Aang, mmhmm. A friend of the Batman!"

You could kinda say that. My memory's pretty fuzzy about the whole thing.

"Fuzzy like the Batman's irreparable sense of TIMING?"

Oh God -- you've gotten him started.

[He's startled and takes a step back.]

Um, what?

"Nothing nothing nothing nothing. Aang, then. That short for something? Aangly? Aangleman?"

Just Aang. That's it. You could call me Avatar Aang, but that's not really necessary.

"Avatar Aang? That's a rather grand-sounding name for a painted lad."

Well I said you didn't have to call me that. And I'm not always a... painted lad. Most of the time I'm just a simple monk. And right now I'm a simple monk in my predecessor's dress and make-up with a full bladder.

"OH. Right. Bathrooms. Erm. You might just find a tree, lad. No one will be watching!"

"I can't do that, someone could see me!" He looked back and forth, nervously, while squeezing his legs together. "I need to find a real bathroom somewhere."

"Well what if they DO see you?" Because Jack engages in public drunken urination a lot. And it has never, ever bothered him.

He did a little jig. "It would be horrible! I don't want anyone to see me like... that! The Avatar's supposed to have some dignity!"

"So it's....embarrassingly small, is it?" A pause. "You can borrow one of my coconuts if you like."

"What?" A blush was visible through the make-up. "It's... no!" He then thought for a moment. "...But I could use a coconut."

[all7seas]

Jack fumbled under the table and brought out an unused coconut-half. "Here you are!"

He eagerly grabbed it, but he lingered for a moment, while his jig grew more erratic. "Thanks! ...What's your name again, by the way?"

[all7seas]

"Sparrow. Captain Jack Sparrow. Pirate Captain. You're welcome, son. Use it wisely and well."

[savedtheworld]

"Thanks Captain Sparrow! I will!" The crossdressed boy dashed off without another word, to find the largest bush nearby to take cover within.
