Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

Booth - Aselia / pre-fair set up

22nd-24th

[On the earlier days, Raine will be supervising most of the setup of the booths, and making sure that things are covered up before the thunderstorm on the 24th. Really, she wants to avoid getting caught in that weather, but she wants to make sure that everything was attended to in time.]

25th-26th

[Raine will be mostly going around checking on the other fair booths and making sure they're running smoothly and have enough supplies. However, the Aselian world will be represented by a booth of their own!

First off, it will feature a certain green creature that some may be familiar with, as he is sometimes taken on walks around the forest or village accompanying Raine or possibly Kratos.

Speaking of Kratos, he's here as well, and in fact will likely be the one people see the most by the booth if Raine isn't nearby.

The booth may also feature Sheena, Emil, or Regal as well at some intervals. Feel free to approach any of them specifically, or approach the booth and see who's around.

There will be samples of recipes (presented by either Regal or Emil, who is dressed as the Wonder Chef), a map of Aselia, and information on each of the elemental summon spirits (Efreet - Fire, Celsius - Ice, Volt - Lightning, Gnome - Earth, Undine - Water, Sylph - Wind, Shadow - Darkness, Luna and Aska - Light) for those who are interested.

Also, Yuan, though not present, has donated his remote-controlled miniature rheaird to the cause. There may be small demonstration of it, but mostly it serves as an example of technology.]

[Lym peers at the green creature. Its kind of cute, maybe some sort of land dragon horse or dog horse. She'll just stare at it for a while, trying to figure out what it is though.]

[Small child alert. When Raine passes by the booth again, she notices that the girl seems to be paying attention to the animal, who gives a little whine about it.]

Officially he is neither, though I suppose in some ways he might be considered to seem like both. He is a Protozoan, currently in an Arshis form.

Hrm, while I haven't seen much outside of my kingdom I don't believe we have those at home. He doesn't seem like he likes being here.

[Aang eventually makes his way to this booth and is quickly fixated on Noishe. He will try to pet this strange not-dog. He also has an apple on his person.]

Hey there boy! Are you some kind of fox-hound?

Hello Aang. [The animal will look at him, tilting his head to the side, and make a soft sound.]

Actually, Noishe is a Protozoan, currently in an Arshis form.

Hi, Professor Sage! Noishe is from your world? [He looks back at Noishe] Nice to meet ya, buddy!

Yes, that's right. Did you have any questions about him?

Hm. [He puts in about five seconds of thought.]

[Roxas is busy studying the map of Aselia, taking in the information and letting his finger trace some of the paths he can imagine.]

...it's a lot bigger than I thought. How did you travel everywhere?

[wise_maiden]

Over land, people usually walked, or used transport dragons, or used boats. There aren't many vehicles that can travel over land without a sufficient mana source.

The fastest method of transportation I've experienced was by rheaird, but they weren't exactly commercially available. [But she does have Yuan's small model version of it on display for him to take a look at.]

Transport dragons? [Cool...] That sounds really cool, Raine...but what's a mana source?

[He's found that model and he's crouching a bit to get a better eye-level look.] They look really aerodynamic. There's only a few then?

[wise_maiden]

Hmm... think of it like energy. Mana is the life force of our world; all living things are dependent on it for survival. It also separates into different magical elements. With magitechnology, that energy can be harnessed for everyday use. When the mana in the atmosphere is thin, then the magitechnology is also lost. It tends to use up quite a lot of it. [Although that's almost coming too close to areas she hadn't quite wanted to tread.] It's not that there are a few; it's rather that they're restricted to the use of a certain organization.

It all sounds really...complicated. A lot more complicated than the magic and technology we have in our worlds.

Do you miss your world a lot?

Pre-fair set-up

[He had been monitoring the set-up of the various booths on and off while flying overhead, but he chooses to land on the 23rd when he spots Raine.]

...need some help? [The offer itself is incredibly awkward, but he could do with the distraction. That, and he likes Raine well enough that it doesn't painfully wound him to volunteer.]

[She glances up from where she's working, looking down at a set of plans in her hand and then toward the area she had chosen for Aselia's display.]

Hello, Draco. [He gets a smile.] I would appreciate it, yes. How have you been doing?

[He'll go ahead and lean his broom against a nearby building, making sure it's in eyesight before he responds with a slight grin of his own.]

I'm alive. I'd say that's doing fairly well. [He looks around at the booth Raine's currently working on.] What's all this?

I thought it would only be fair if I set up a booth of my own for the Culture fair we're holding this week. Setting up the particulars doesn't seem to be going as smoothly as I thought it would.

Fair enough. What seems to be troubling about the set-up?

[Emil is... still a little unsure on this whole Wonder Chef thing, but he does have to admit the outfit is kind of fun! IT HAS A CAPE, THEREFORE IT IS AWESOME. The hat keeps slipping down into his eyes, though, and he has to keep pushing it back up.]

So should I just hide around the fair and pop out at people when they walk by?

Indeed! You know how he has a tendency to hide where you least expect it. Why don't you practice it a few times and try to get comfortable?

[Emil glances around for a moment, and then shuffles over to duck behind a bush. It wouldn't be a bad hiding place at all if it weren't for the fact that his hat is sort of clearly visible over the top of the bush.]

[Well, at the very least, a random chef's hat out of nowhere would probably draw attention.

Once he's settled in, she'll casually walk by him in order to initiate the start of the practice run.]
