When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it
Where: All around the town square

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

Yeah! Meet Isabelle, my new pet. She's a wendi skyrunner from back home!

Isabelle, huh? [He smiles slowly.] I'd really be able to go for a ride?

Of course! She's young, but I think she's pretty strong. What do you think girl, you want to fly?

[He gives the hawkzile a scratch on her neck, causing her to trill quietly and tilt into it. Yeah, it's safe to say that she doesn't mind. With a grin, Mikage swings a leg over her back, offering a hand out to pull Naoki up.]

Come on, you'll love it!

[Naoki seems to be thinking for a moment but at last grins and takes that offered hand to let Mikage help him up.]

I'm taking your word for it on this!

[fyulong]

[Victory! Mikage laughs, waiting for Naoki to settle in before giving the hawkzile's flanks a light tap with his heels.]

Hold on tight. Let's move, 'belle!

[And with a pleased shriek - she'd hated being grounded and stared at all day, apparently - the bird-dragon takes off into the sky like a rocket.]

[And when she shoots up is when Naoki yelps and grabs Mikage around the middle with both arms. Yep, he's holding on tight now.]

Whooooa-- [The sound is exhilaration rather than fear, half-shouted (thankfully not right in his friend's ear). Naoki looks around with wide eyes as they ascend, trying not to let his mouth hang open.]

[Mikage laughs - he knows that feeling, your first flight on a hawkzile - and urges the dragon to go higher, tilting a little to have her sweep over the festival to give them a good view.]

[Naoki looks down eagerly; thankfully, he doesn't experience unwelcome vertigo. Comes with liking to spend time in high places, and this not being the first time he's flown like this.]

[His voice is almost lost in the wind, but there's laughter showing pretty clearly in the tone.]

[Said with a laugh, loud to be heard.

Naoki loosens his hold on Mikage enough so that he can have a better look down and about, wondering at it all. He goes about picking out people from stands, grinning at just how many there are.]
