When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it
Where: All around the town square

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

[Draco likes fire...but that's not why he's watching from a distance. He's more entranced by the fact that this boy is apparently making the fire bend at his whim. How was that even a thing. When the demo's over though, he can't help but ask.]

[Zuko sketches a shrug.] Natural ability. It's one of four in my world: earth, water, air, and fire.

So does that mean that only certain people can use certain elements, or are there people who can use all four? [Sorry he's jumping right to the heart of the matter, Zuko, but it's always fascinating to him when he meets people that can perform some sort of "magic."]

There's only one person who can use all four -- the Avatar -- and not all people are benders. But, with that one exception, those of us who do bend can only use one element.

The Avatar...[He has absolutely no idea who that is, but he might have to seek him out now.]

Is the element something you choose, or something that chooses you?

We're born to one element. No choosing for us and, honestly, I wouldn't have chosen any different anyway.

I'm Fire Nation. It's who I am. Fire is so much a part of me I can't imagine using another element.

Fair enough, I suppose. [In a sense, it's sort of how he can't see himself being anything other than a Slytherin.]

How much training is required to master your abilities?

I'm still training and I've been doing it since I could walk. There are still things out there that I can't do yet.

An endless battle then. Sounds enough like the magic of my own world. Nevertheless? It's a bit impressive.
