When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

Oh, there are muffins and butter rolls and melon bread. They're all very good.

[She means in general, not because she baked them. But she did do a good job today, luckily enough.]

[meteorical]

I don't think I've ever had melon bread before. What kind of melon is it?

It's a cantaloupe! Would you like to try some?

[She offers a plate of it.]

[meteorical]

[Wtf that looks delicious. Her mouth forms into a small sort of "oh!", and she's reaching out to take a piece from the plate.] Thank you. [And taking a bite of it...]

...wow, this is really good. Did you make it yourself?

Oh, no. Fenimore and I made it together!

[Because Fenimore likes her kitchen not to be burnt to the ground through absentmindedness.]

[meteorical]

Fenimore's from your world, too? How come she's not here at the festival?

[lostinmyway]

I think she's busy looking after Sophie. Maybe she'll come later.

[meteorical]

Sophie? [Give her a second...] Stella's daughter? [She'd only met Stella once or twice, but she remembered.]

[lostinmyway]

[Ping!]

Yes, that's right. Are you one of her friends?

[meteorical]

I met her once or twice when she was here. She was married to...Senel? That was his name, right?

[lostinmyway]

[At the mention of her friend, Grune's perpetual smile turns warm and fond.]

Yes, that's right! Senel and Stella love each other very much.

[meteorical]

[She never met Senel, but she got the impression that they were very caring for each other.] How long have they been in love? [It's an odd question, but in a way she's comparing. Just a little.]

Oh, a very long time, I think.

[She has no idea, but that sounds about right.]

[meteorical]

She was really nice...I never met him, though. I wonder if they'll ever come back.

[lostinmyway]

[Grune's smile slips into something a little quieter.]

I'm sure they will someday. It just might take a little while, that's all.

[meteorical]

Sure. And then you can tell them all about how you represented your home world and about how Sophie's growing up.

I will! They're going to be so proud of her.
