Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

I wonder if there's a way for us to get back to your world to see it for ourselves. It looks like it'd be great to explore.

It just so happens that a couple weeks back, the Malnosso sent both me and Jeb to Wasteland so we could hang out there for a day. We had a great time!

[And uh, also battled the Shadow Blot with Mickey Mouse and pretty much did the entire Epic Mickey ending shebang, but that's a story for another day.]

So I guess that means you're one of the ones who prefers home over this place, huh?

[... Huh. Good question. He's still not really sure.]

I dunno... This place became sorta like home too. I made lots of friends here, ya know. It's like it doesn't even matter that I don't have a heart.

[She'd comment on him not having a heart, but she's grown pretty used to it.] Probably because it doesn't matter. I have a few friends who feel the same way...they don't have hearts either. This is a better place for them.

[Oh, and now Oswald looks interested.] Are they cartoon characters too? Or are they those Nobody kids?

You've met some of the Nobodies?

Oh, yeah! I met Roxas and he told me about Nobodies. Haven't really met any others, though. Unless Ventus is a Nobody too.

[Is he? Oswald isn't too sure.]

That saves me an explanation then. Ven's pretty much just...Ven. Ven's a normal boy. [As far as she knows. Roxas would beg to differ.] What made you think Ven was one?

Well, he looks just like Roxas! I'd say they were twin brothers if I didn't know any better.

[...fair point.] Ven and Roxas are a special kind of case. I don't think I've seen anything like it before where two people look the same but aren't connected. [... It is weird that Roxas and Sora don't look alike but he and Ven do, isn't it? But she and Namine don't, so...man, talk about confusing.]

Really? They ain't connected at all? Wow, that's a pretty weird coincidence. [It's like plagiarism without any actual plagiarism being involved- Just two characters being similar just because the artists had the same ideas. ... Except it doesn't work that way with humans.]

Unless they know something that I don't. [She tilts her head a little though.] Do you know a lot about the connections of our world? [She's not sure what Roxas has and hasn't told people.]

Oh, uh... I don't really get it too much. Just that if a person plays around with darkness, they get spliced into two different people. The heartless body becomes a Nobody and the heart becomes a Heartless, or somethin' like that. Kinda backwards names, if ya ask me. ... Roxas came from this kid named Sora, and that's about all I know.

That's still a lot more than a lot of people know. That's the main gist of it. It gets hard to explain sometimes though...I know there aren't a lot of worlds that have similar happenings.

Yeah, it sounds pretty unique to me. I lost my heart too, but it ain't because I was messing around with darkness. I just didn't have a choice.

[Wait what? She suddenly looks confused, and then sympathetic.] What do you mean you didn't have a choice?

Well, it's uh... It's like this. A cartoon character's heart is the love of the fans. If they lose their fans' attention, they lose that heart.

But is it possible to get the attention back?

Oh, yeah! It's called a comeback. Hard to pull off, though. Especially with how technology keeps changing. All my old cartoons are on old film reels, but humans don't use movie projectors much anymore.

But what about in this place? Is a comeback possible here in Luceti?

Can't really have a comeback if people didn't know about you to begin with... But that ain't stopping me from gathering new fans here! I figure that even if they aren't from my own world, if I can get enough people here to love me, I'll get my heart back anyway. Love is love, right?

That depends if you consider it love or admiration. There's a difference, isn't there?

Oh, well, yeah... I guess there is. But the real fans don't just admire cartoon characters, they give them a place in their heart. That's the difference, I guess.

[It's sweet, isn't it?] I bet you've got a lot of real fans here then. Especially with a set-up like this.
