When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

Well wasn't that what you risked? So many other things she could say race through her mind as she shuts her eyes as hard as she can to try to not cry. It's not working well. Angry tears are still getting in there. Breathe, breathe.]

...Of course it wasn't.

[She said, staring at the bracelet]

Then why, Haruhi? Why did you call me out here? Why did you- [discard something I made for you like trash] do that?

I called you out here... to see you. To talk. [Still staring at the bracelet. To pretend they could be friends. Clearly not]

I was glad you did until now. [She sniffs and wipes her eyes with the back of her hand.]

I missed you.

[Until now.

Hah]

You have no idea how- ["much it hurt" "what it's like." She bites in both of those. she bites back any reply about Ed and collapses to her knees, staring still at the bracelet]

I know I don't! I don't have a clue! I'm trying to cooperate with you because I don't know. But you don't know either! You don't know how I feel about this. Leaving you didn't make me any more happy. Everything isn't sunshine and roses on my end either. I love you, Haruhi. You mean so much to me. To have someone that is so important to you avoid you, call your gifts stupid and damage them, an- and to have them hate you is-

[She can't finish. She's choking up because everything hurts and almost nothing is good.]

[She tries, she really tries, to listen to Winry here. She tries hard (thinking of what Sokka said, against all odds) to focus on that alone, what she is saying and not see red. It's hard though. To be fair- it helps that she said "I love you". Tears begin to fall down her face - what bullshit, and she can't even whipe it up because it'll mess her suit up. She's already getting it dirty being on her knees...]

I- I love you. [So much more than you ever thought? No, that would be arrogant, it might not even be true. And it sucks]

[Haruhi's "I love you" calms Winry a bit. I love you. So it's possible Haruhi doesn't hate her. The blond walks forward, and gets down on her own knees.]

You mean it?

How... couldn't I?

[Maybe she hates her too. A little. There's some hate. But it's because of the love]

It... felt like you hate me more than you love me.

Not- [Composing herself...] yet.

[Yet. That means she could. There's a chance that is could happen, and it scares her.]

W-what can I do to prevent that from happening?

Nothing. It's on me.

[...Sigh. she goes to collect the bracelet. She damaged it]

[There's nothing she can do? It makes her feel helpless. But the feeling of helplessness doesn't stop her in her tracks. No. She gets up on her own. And when she does she'll offer a hand out to the kneeling Haruhi.]

[She doesn't put the damaged bracelet back on. She just puts it in one of her suit pockets. but... she dos take the hand to get back up. Eventually]

[After she helps Haruhi up Winry allows the other girl some space, and brushes the dirt off her own knees.]

[...This feeling still sucks. Ugh Ugh. She doesn't brush herself, just glances off to the side]

[Winry... simply stands there, not meeting Haruhi's eyes. She doesn't want to incite another outburst. What does Haruhi really expect- want from her? Winry doesn't know, and because of that she does nothing. Normally she'd take a situation head-on and stubbornly stand her ground, but... this time is different. She could risk losing someone important "forever" over this.]

[...Sigh]

I can't do this after all.

"This"?

This! The... I thought I could meet with you.

[AUGH]

Oh.

Sorry. [She takes a step back. One hand wants to rest on the table, but she retracts that before it rests there. If... if she has to leave there's no point in resting anything.]

No, it's fine.

[It's not fine, it's the furthest thing from fine. She looks down at her hands (now bracletless) and now seems like she's going to cry again. She does not want to do that]

Look at the other booths if you want. Or... do whatever you want.

I came here for you.

[She doesn't feel up to looking at anything else now anyway. Feeling insecure she folds one arm under her chest to hold the other. "Look at other booths if you want." She'll take that as Haruhi dismissing her, so she turns away.]

[...Bah.] Then go spend time with Ed or Sokka or someone.

[And at this, she sits. Mostly because her stomach is doing flips and she doesn't trust herself to stand. she says this to Winry's turned self]
