When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it
Where: All around the town square

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

Mm, well. You could always babysit... [ a pause then smile ] dragonsit, if you wanted? He seems to have taken a liking towards you. Luminair does have a nice disposition at least. I-I'm sure you'd be very good at it.

[ A here Luminair will chirp and wag his tail enthusiastically. He doesn't mind this idea, nope. ]

He probably only likes me because my name. [Sure, Draco. Just ignore the fact that Luminair could just be a derp-dragon.] We'll see what he thinks as he gets older.

[folklorist]

[ Helios laughs at that. ] Perhaps. He does have a few people who are his favorites. I'll have to keep a close eye out on you and him. [ Who knows what sorts of things you two might get into. Helios smiles again looking around at the rest of the festival. ]

Are you enjoying yourself? There's a good few booths around. Most of them are...quite interesting.

Enjoyment might be a bit of a stretch, but I have to admit it's been an interesting experience. Seems as though quite a few people wanted to show off today. Have you had a chance to leave long enough to take a good look?

[folklorist]

I can't really blame them for wanting to. It's always nice to give people the chance to learn about your culture! People just seem to like that sort of instance I think. [ Helios shakes his head at that question. ] And unfortunately no. I've, ah, been busy manning the stand.

I thought about whether I wanted to bother, but then I realized that too many people know about my world as it is. Seems sort of invasive, in a way. Maybe you should take the dragon for a walk and go explore then.

People know about your world? [ This is news to him. Hello having never read your book series Draco. Luminair is just going flap his wings and flick his tail more at the mentioning of walking around. ] But m-maybe you're right about that walk. Luminair probably needs to stretch a little; he's been cooped up for a bit.

It's apparently a book series in multiple worlds...[And it bothers the crap out of him, though thankfully no one's brought it up in a while. Though a few weeks after this is set two new people mentioned it to him.] Take him before he hurts himself.
