[Alrighty! Battler had called over Ange, the two of them had planned on giving Kyrie some presents on this wonderful day- and of course this is really the first time Battler's done this with his newly acquired mother. In any case, they were in the kitchen... trying to cook for her. Breakfast in bed after all.

Except ....with Ange helping out this might not go as well as he had hoped.]

[ Slowly turning her head towards the pan-- ah, even Ange (because she's at least a liiiittle better at this in Luceti) can notice they're burnt-- HURRY UP AND GET THEM OUT!! She dumps them on a nearby empty plate but.. yeah, there's no saving those.

She almost looks a little disappointed like a kid would when she pokes them with a fork. ]

[KJSDNFKJSDN he manages to put the pancake on another plate and then he walks over to her, patting her on the head.]

H-hey hey Ange, it's alright! I'm sure Kyrie-san will... still like it. [~~kelsey likes it black after all~~]

[ At least she's getting headpats now but-- her sausages.. ;A; Fine, fine, she'll man up, she's a big girl now..!! ]

No way mom will like something like this, right? Forcing her to eat it would just be cruel. [ at least she seems to understand that much. ] We'll just bring her what you made, onii-chan.

[...He just made some pancakes- JUST PANCAKES?! OKAY?!?!]

It's alright... grab some orange juice, I bet she'll want something like that to go along with this. [you can manage juice pouring, can't you Ange?]

[ unless you want it to be pancakes with burnt sausages.. ]

Fine, fine.. [ But she sounds a little defeated already, she can't do anything, huh!! But yes, she can at least handle that much. So there we go, glass of orange juice. ]

[he looks over at her while he's getting a tray ready, putting the plate full of pancakes on it.]

Aahh I remember when I used to burn things! It took me forever before I was able to cook properly- and I still mess up a lot! Jeez, it's so good that I was able to do these without messing up, a miracle even!

[he was.... just saying it to make her feel better.]

[ SHE KNOWS HE'S DOING IT FOR THAT.. but she appreciates it all the same. ;; Best onii-chan.. ]

Of course it was a miracle, onii-chan. [ said in that tone that means she knows he's trying to cheer her up with it..!! but she still smiles, just a little bit. ]

Let's go and bring it to mom before she's already out of bed.

[he nods.]

Right! [lala, putting the juice on the tray too- he's already slapped some butter and syrup on the pancakes too, all fancy and shit like mother fucking Gohda used to make.

And he's carrying it, heading up the stairs towards Kyrie's room.]

[ Okay, following him!! Since Battler has his hands full she'll even go ahead of him and knock on the door to see if Kyrie is awake yet or not.. ]

[She calls out from the room - she's just woken up and is still sitting in bed with a book.]

Yes?

[Battler gestures for Ange to open the door.]

We're coming in Kyrie-san!

[ Okay, okay already!! There, opening the door so they can both go in.. Although Ange is even smiling a little since it's a happy family moment and all, she hasn't had those in a long time back home.. ;; ]

Happy Mother's Day, mom.

[It's not like she was expecting them to do anything for her... (she was.) (well, they better, anyway!!)]

Oh~ Aren't you two cute! [She laughs and sets the book aside.] Is it breakfast in bed?

[Battler nods, and he's walking in and showing her what they got

....JUST ....SOME FANCY PANCAKES OK...]

We did~! Ihihi! Ange was such a good helper! [she even burnt the sausages 8D]

[ This is Ange. This is Ange subtly kicking Battler's shins slightly when he mentions that (although she makes sure he's at least set it down first, don't want to drop the breakfast..) ]

We thought it was only natural to do this much for you today.

[Don't think she didn't notice that little kick there...so Ange still sucks at cooking, how cute~]

I see the benefits of grown children now, it was cute when you did this sort of thing as a little girl, Ange, but this will be much easier to eat.

Oho! I remember the things she used to make! Ihihihi! They were uh.... interesting, yeah.

[and he's walking over to Kyrie, setting down the tray in her lap ;u;]

[ WHY DOES IT ALWAYS TURN INTO A 'MAKE FUN OF ANGE' FAMILY THING. Can't we go back to making fun of Battler.. So she huffs a little. ]

Just enjoy it without talking about back then.

Ah, but it was so cute...you were really just the cutest little girl.

[Battler looks at Ange and gives her a thumbs up! HE AGREES WITH MOM.]
