Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a second log so people can change up their effects and try something new, jump into the event late, or just avoid the impending CAPTCHA on the first log.

[To the cat, as she tries to keep a hold:] That isn't even sporting. It'll probably give you indigestion, anyway.

[And to the furfur:] And you don't even care that you're being called useless, do you?

[The cat, Jana, stops flailing eventually, rather choosing to sulk quietly in her arms.

The furfur, on the other hand, just bounces one last time. It can't really emote well, sadly, and it had no mouth.

But really, what would he even say? Furfurs could be taken out by small children- they really were useless.]

[It's a little awkward to try to hold the cat with one arm, but she'll attempt to pet it a little in consolation when it stops flailing.

She glances down to the furfur.] ...Stop looking at me like that. I can't help that it's true. [It seems that Fenimore is filling in the lack of ability to emote with her own imagination.]

[Jana sulks a bit more before a tiny purr starts up, deciding she can catch the odd thing later and examine it more closely.

And the imagining is ok, Fenimore. There's nothing wrong with speaking to animate balls of fur. He rolls over closer, though, if that will help make up for the lack of words.]

[Cool. Then she will just keep on doing so.]

If you're looking for attention, you'll have to find someone else. My hands are tied.

[Or, rather, occupied by cat. It is actually possible that she has never encountered a housecat in her life, but cats do exist in her world and she has been around for about two and a half years, so she does know of them, at least.]

[He's not really looking for attention... but he is kind of wondering what she'll do with his cat.

In all honesty, he should be rolling off somewhere to hide from Jana, but it couldn't hurt to stick around now that she had calmed down and was more or less relaxing in Fenimore's arms.]

[She's...actually not sure what to do with the cat. She can't let her loose with the furfur still around. That would defeat the purpose. ...For short term, she supposes she can keep petting.]

...Go on, shoo. [She attempts to make ineffective shooing motions vaguely in his direction with her foot at Frey by lifting one leg and flicking with her ankle.]
