Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a second log so people can change up their effects and try something new, jump into the event late, or just avoid the impending CAPTCHA on the first log.

[Unfortunately for Gilbert, Jack has never had much of a concept of personal space, especially where Vincent is concerned. It's partly Vincent's fault, though, because he was such a cuddly and affectionate little kid that Jack just got used to it.

ESPECIALLY unfortunately for Gilbert are the facts that a) Jack doesn't know it's him instead of Vincent, and b) Jack is currently in possession of a rather impressive pair of boobs that are going to be squashed onto Gil's head from behind when Jack sneaks up behind him for a surprise hug. Oops.]

Sudden boobsquish leaves Gilbert absolutely stunned and frozen in place, unable to so much as summon a word or even a noise in reaction. If this is one of Vincent's, er, female acquaintances then Gilbert really, really doesn't want to know about it. And if it's someone else, he wants to know it even less.]

[The voice may be female, but that cheerful tone to it should be unmistakable even so. And even if it weren't, Jack is just going to be leaning his head over to look at him and... oh. Did he break? He looks a little bit broken.]

[He knows that voice. He definitely knows that voice.

However, he does not know those... prominent features.

Gilbert slowly turns to stare, then lifts his eyes to meet Jack's with an incredulous lift to his brows.]

You're. Hm.

[Jack is all smiles and doesn't seem too bothered by this entire situation at all. However, his shirt is... let's just say it's protesting quite a bit at said prominent features. At least nothing unfortunate has happened in that department yet, but it's likely just a matter of time.]

Is it that obvious?

It's quite hard to miss.

[And seriously, Jack, a little modesty here. There's clothing available for free, might as well take advantage of it.

But Gilbert bites back any commentary he might have made, since pointing it out would make it kind of clear just how much he'd noticed about the straining fabric.]

It must be. I can't think of any other reason why I would have awakened like this. Though as far as experiments go, this one really doesn't seem to be that bad.

[BOOBS ARE FUN I mean what. He totally didn't just sit there squishing them for several minutes when he woke up, not at all.]

[And Gilbert glances away again with a quiet huff, half a sigh and half a snort.]

[Hold on, give him a second to pull his coat closed over those boobs so it looks a little less ridiculous.]

[He merely shrugs, as though entirely indifferent (though his mind is actually more on the fact that he hasn't had a cigarette in several days now and wow this not-smoking thing is hard).]

[Jack just releases the front of his coat and settles his hands on his hips in what can only be called a very feminine gesture.]

[Or are you just here to show off your new assets, because Jack, he honestly could have done without. But.]

Ah, not really-- I just wanted to say hello, that's all.

[... also maybe that too. The reaction he got WAS kind of fun.]

[At least someone enjoyed it. Gilbert gives Jack a look that says he isn't quite sure whether to frown or laugh, then takes a few steps forward to lean a bit against the bridge railing nearby.]

Things will be back to normal soon enough, I think.

[It's a bit of an odd question, perhaps, but it IS Jack asking and he is hardly the most normal of people. Considering he doesn't seem to be too distressed by the situation, well...]

Not terribly, I don't think. The experiments are always so... chaotic.

Interesting, perhaps, but messy.

[Gilbert pauses a moment and nods toward Jack.]

And you won't need to obtain a new wardrobe, for such a short time.

Mm, but the chaos is what makes them interesting, I think. It's just like life itself, only on a smaller scale. Don't you agree?

I... suppose you could see it that way. As though all the small chaos that makes up life had been compressed into a smaller period of time.
