Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a second log so people can change up their effects and try something new, jump into the event late, or just avoid the impending CAPTCHA on the first log.

[For a second Gilbert looks briefly startled, caught on that one point, but then he blinks and shakes his head.]

No, I— normally I don't look like this. It's, er, the experiment.

Mhmm! Though he didn't say too much. He just told me that you were his and Elliot's brother too.

[And then there's a pause.] Experiment?

[She knew something was up but couldn't quite pinpoint what. She starts to fluster a little] I-I'm so sorry! I didn't even realize it until now.

Yes, well, I'm....

[Gilbert hesitates, one hand twitching slightly as he starts to make an unconscious nervous gesture but catches himself partway through.]

It's not. Terribly obvious, I suppose. If you don't really— know.

[She smiles a little but it may come off as a little sheepish. She's embarrassed for not noticing earlier.] I still haven't gotten the hang of catching these experiments. I'm not used to them yet, to be honest.

[Well, that might explain a lot. The set of Gilbert's shoulders relaxes a fraction as he frowns at the girl, finally looking at her.]

It's a lot to get used to.

Well, I've been here since March but... considering how long other people have been here I guess I am pretty new! [She giggles]

It really is... but I think I'll get used to it soon enough. How long have you been here?

As of March— one year.

[He shrugs a little, almost dismissively.]

Don't expect things to remain... normal, and you should be fine.

Really? That's still pretty long. Do you miss your home?

[She smiles sheepishly at that] Yeah, I kinda got used to the idea that nothing would really be normal for long here.

[Yes, well... we don't talk about what Gilbert does and doesn't miss. He does his best to pretend he isn't terribly interested in the question, but the way he glances away with another shrug isn't subtle.]

I've had several people from home here while I was, so it's not as though I'm by myself.
