Summary: Masaomi wanted to see his friends before the draft and ts' his birthday tomorrow. So he took the thing Mikado Announced and decided to make it on the day before to make it easier on everyone

[Well it's a "party" - Masaomi at least didn't plan for things like decorations or a cake, so there's just the video games, pool table, air hockey, and whatever else is normally here. If other people brought cake or food though, that's good! His message said that this was't planned (mostly because with is broke arm he can't lug anything and he didn't want to force that on Shikamaru. But yeah!! Let's... okay so it might not be the most enjoyable thing ever given the date, but let's interact!

I'll be making subthreads for gifts and food (the later because it's not supplied so people know what's there) but other than that make your own thread, mingle, mass log stuff ♥ If you character is a friend of Masaomi's assume he rang them about the date-change. Same for anyone who replied to Mikado's entry about it. If you want to crash it that's okay too, or say you heard from someone else or just followed someone there or... anything...]

Really, it's not the best ever, buy CJ-san did give me some compensation for it. [And... he's glad to see her. In fact- he's going to give her a pat on her shoulder with his free hand. And he's loathe to make this serious now but-]

I'm glad that you moved up your party so we can all celebrate your birthday, but I'm also glad just to have this time with everyone before we have to go.

[you know... that makes him feel warmer inside, that she's able to say that with sincerity enough that he believes it. He almost brings up how he's looking forward to seeing Sokka again (and he actually is, to get back to the sword thing in some capacity) and everything else but...

She still doesn't know how Sokka is going to be, dealing with his grief and loss. She isn't at all happy that she's going to be separated from Masaomi and Shikamaru as she knows they're going to be planning something ridiculous. And as for the draft... what Aang is going to see... what they are going to do... nothing is going to be the same after this.]

Hah, then let's upgrade it - it's now a wish. My birthday wish - that there's going to be a "light" for all this "darkness." July's a "bright" month to begin with, riiight?

And somehow, she just... doesn't think that there's going to be "light" any time soon. Not while they're still here. The most she's hoping for is the ability to hang on until they can find a way to make it all stop.]
