I've been chillin' out on a star with my 5 star view

Who: All draftees
What: The space battle commences
When: After 3PM on the 19th to the 23rd
Where: In Space! On the Moon!
Summary: The battle finally begins! First there's asteroids to take down, then we finally arrive!
Rating: SPACE

MORE SPACE

All the details you need are here, so read up on it. This didn't get mentioned before, but you can tag the cultists instead of killing them. Details on this are on a previous draft post. Using the scanners are optional!

There will be a thread for interacting with NPCs, but they may not all go up at once, so keep an eye out for them.

Note: A log for the events in the village will go up on the 21st, in time for the hurricane and droid incursion.

[Time for you to show what you can do, Eusine. Green's here, and on the 21st he's battling himself. Right now, Charizard is out, wearing its space suit but definitely not its helmet. Blast Burn would not have been very fun for the dragon. Green has also been playing support, but at the moment, he's taking offensive, letting Charizard swing with Fire Punch at some cultists and staying very close to his Pokémon. You manage to time in quite well, arriving just as some cultists start making it around Charizard to where Green is standing! Best he can do is punch at them, but he will look quite glad to see another Pokémon trainer.]

Hey!

[Is all Green will say for now, isn't he a delightful conversationalist?]

[Don't worry Green, Eusine won't comment on your conversation skills. He's much too busy having Haunter shadow punch one of the cultists in the face while Electrode shocks another. Jumpluff doesn't just sit there with her arms crossed, either, and it's a shower of cotton spores that awaits the enemies' faces if they ever do so much as turn around to see who their new opponent is.
That should give you some space, at least.]

Green.

[He's not being as wordy as he could be, himself, but he does look pretty proud of his flawless timing.]

[Green's gaze immediately goes to Jumpluff, and as he backs up and lets Eusine take space beside him, he keeps close to the other trainer.]

What's Jumpluff's moveset?
hark_a_suicune: (A wizard did it)

[He'd argue magicians don't reveal their secrets, but... it's not like telling an ally would make much of a change, especially against enemies who have no idea what a Pokémon is. And hey, he gets to brag about how awesome Jumpluff is!]

Cotton spore, leech seed, a variety of powders...!

[As if on cue, a vine starts sprouting out of the nose of one of the cultists previously hit by the spores.
This doesn't faze Eusine at all, and he takes a second to glance at the base's metallic walls before resuming.]

I'm afraid synthesis is out of the question, though.

[Gruesome! But Green doesn't hesitate. Charizard stomps forward, swinging Fire Punches.]

Make sure Jumpluff is clear. Can you cover them in flammable spores?
hark_a_suicune: (Morty I am home now)

[personal profile] hark_a_suicune 2012-07-06 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
[He won't even reply to that. He just gives Green his best magician smirk, before turning straight to his Pokémon:]

Jumpluff?

[Jumpluff nods. Roger that!
She takes a deep breath... and fire!!!
Well, not literally fire (yet), but you get the drill. She shoots what seems to be incredibly sticky spores at the cultists, doing her best to avoid hitting anyone friendly. Hitting friends with flammable spores would be bad.

As for the leech seed'd enemies? They might be a bit distracted by the vines suddenly encircling their heads and torsos. They're not completely out of the picture, but at least they're conveniently hindered.]
