The General - June 21st

A city upon the planet's very moon. Like roaches, these barbarians that thought themselves the true saviors of this world would flee to any corner into which they thought themselves safe. Let them hide. Flee to beneath the sea, underground, or into the sky itself. There was no escape from the inevitable truth. To this place, on this day, he would gift them with freedom from this cycle.

His troops soared around the city and though it was an ambitious campaign, he felt confident in victory. Soon this city would fall and those who had deigned to stain the planet's moon would find soon be given an eternity to repent. To his troops he uttered only one command.

"Let nothing stand." They would follow his orders without question.

He stood tall as he strode through the main street of the city. A seasoned veteran, the man wore his battle scars with pride, which adorned the entirety of his body. He wore minimal armor. He did not need it. He carried no weapons with him either. Though his wings would allow him to fly, much as his soldiers did, he preferred to be rooted to the ground. He did not hear the call on this barren moon, but the mission was always the same. Let no one stand before him.

[ooc: Please refer to the mod post in regards to the General. He will not be killed by any player character. He is a notoriously powerful combatant and difficult to harm, but he prefers to let his soldiers fight for him. He will trade words with those he comes across and fight those who attack him.

[During much of the draft, Jack will be protecting any noncombatants that need or want looking after. You might run into him operating a turret gun during the space battle. He will also guard medical quarters and assist in any necessary escapes for noncombatants and Malnosso and their families -- helping to evacuate those threatened by the Cultists on the Moon Base.

He doesn't take any pleasure in killing and wants to avoid it if he can this round.

Jack's attitude is very tense and preoccupied beneath a well-oiled, carefully cheerful surface. He is wearing a certain locket, as he always does, and has been listening to dispatches concerning the Cultists with care -- listening, especially, for any word of the General's arrival.]

He was here. The news tore through the ranks -- faster than wild fire. She hadn't glimpsed him yet. Hadn't seen a single inch of the enemy she'd grown incrementally fixated upon since she'd sawed his wings off on a hot August day. Years ago, now.

She wanted to find the General, but first she had to find someone else. Jack Sparrow. So the Slayer abandoned her post and the fight, slicing raggedly through one last Cultist before ducking down one of the moon city's streets. Her too-tight-for-comfort suit was already well spattered with blood. Some of it hers; most of it not.

Her one hope was in the possibility that the pirate hadn't yet heard of the new player in the game. Perhaps, she wouldn't have to hunt. Perhaps, she thought with a sick twist in her gut, he'd be happy to see her.

[Gregor will station himself as an infirmary guard. This doesn't mean he never leaves. He's not going to be constantly on duty, right? That's the worst idea ever. When he's off-duty, he'll be scarfing down a meal or catching a few hours' rest.

At one point, a dream shifter will board and manage to run into him, a rescue reserved for Jilly.

Otherwise, he's at the infirmary with his stunner. The last mission he went on made him decide a lethal weapon would be one he'd hesitate to use, therefore useless in battle. A stunner, however, is a weapon no enemy will hesitate to rush--once they figure out what it is, anyway. Still, he uses it with a trained expertise. Trained, not experienced. He can still get in trouble, and most assuredly will.]

[At some point on the 22nd, Katniss finally wanders by the infirmary. She had been avoiding it, avoiding the very hallway. The sick and injured - not people she's comfortable being around. This isn't like being in District Eight. Needing to meet the injured as the Mockingjay.

Right now, she just needs a bandage. Something to stem the bleeding coming from the cut on her arm. She's hesitant, though. Almost more afraid to enter than she's been in the battlefield.

Gregor's presence by the door is barely noted as she works up the courage to enter.]

[So here's what Billy is up to during the draft:

3PM the first day he will be rushing around the ship trying to be useful with his powers without actually having to pilot one of the smaller ships himself. His focus will be enchanting the ship's weapons and fighting off the enemies who manage to board the ship, so don't be surprised if your character is using a turret and hears someone chanting "IwantittohitIwantittohit" behind them. Don't worry, it'll help. He might also hijack a passenger spot in one of the smaller ships and become a living forcefield generator for a while.

After the battle he'll rest up in the ship so feel free to harass him before bedtime, too.

The 20th-22nd, basically anything goes. With his powers being so versatile, he can be found doing any of the following:
-helping to fight the cultists outside the moon base and on the ship with his magic, primarily sticking to lightning bolts and force fields
-enchanting more of the turrets
-mending suits on the battlefield if any should happen to tear when he's around
-creating force fields around important technology while it's under attack
-healing the wounded in the infirmary
-flying around like a nutter basically helping wherever he can!

The night of the 22nd he'll arrive at the infirmary with a deep cut in his side and a nosebleed. Guess who's discovering the upper limits of his power output at last?

The 23rd will be spent in the infirmary, either resting or trying to help out the injured without using his powers. And, in general, feeling pretty useless.

[ there's nothing quite like seeing your heroes busted up. buffy summers -- after a not-so-fortuitous meeting with the general and a possibly even less fortuitous confrontation with a dream shifter -- is spending more time asleep in the infirmary than she is conscious. her status is not irrecoverable but it certainly is bad. in fact, she's looking far worse than a particularly iconic scene.

[Canti's not one for combat. Thus, his primary duty for the draft will be collection of the sick and injured. He could be walking behind the front lines of a battle, or he could be running full speed with two people under each arm. He will also do his best to keep track of other non-combatants, making sure everyone is safe and secure, especially those who can't easily protect themselves. He might even be babysitting, both draftee and resident children, should the need arise.]

[The 19th, Crys will be a little nervous and probably fidgety. She's still trying to get used to fighting like this, and it's not very easy in space. So feel free to help her out.

On the 20th-21st, she'll be a bit more used to battling in space, and by the 21st, she won't be as nervous. Her Pokemon are a bit more used to fighting space, and Crys is getting her confidence back about being here. Feel free to fight back to back with her here outside the base.

The day of the 22nd is reserved for Gold. This is when things start to take a turn for the worse, and she winds up getting caught with a Dream Shifter. Yup.

The 23rd is basically her doing little fighting, and more resting, especially after her previous day. She'll be staying very close to the infirmary, and have her Pokemon out to make her feel more secure. Crys will have a few bruises and a bad cut on her arm, but for the most part, she's okay.]

[Junior! Green's your eye in the sky - or rather, from the moon base - on the 20th. He's tapped into the radio, and you'll get him talking to you!]

[19th: Kain is one of the fighters who's going on on asteroids, landing and dealing with cultists when needed. He's going to be struggling a lot with his jumping on this initial day, frequently underestimating how much power he has to put into it. But otherwise, he manages well enough, planting explosives where needed, too.]

[20th-21st: All the fighting! Kain's going to be wherever the heaviest battle is raging, be it on the Moon Base or within the city. He noticeably never tags cultists- instead he will always go for the kill.]

[22nd: Trouble with the Dream Shifters! Kain gets himself caught within one of the spheres almost right away as this day's battle commences. To him, it's as if he's returned home to Baron all of a sudden... but surely there's nothing wrong with that? In fact, Rydia is there as well, and she's happily welcoming him home...]

22nd - Aw, what the hell, this looks like it could be fun. :D;;

[Grune is a little tired but all set to start another day of doing her best when she comes across an odd sort of sphere. It's very pretty, and she spends a while simply admiring it. But then--my, isn't that Kain? Why isn't he fighting? There's an enemy soldier in with him, but he looks happy.

Something must have happened to him. He might get hurt if he doesn't see the enemy.

And so, without hesitating, Grune steps inside the sphere.]

[Obi-Wan is, once again, in a surprisingly peaceful mood, an odd calm in the midst of the storm of battle. It is his way. It's a Soresu thing. Don't question it.

19th: Obi-Wan is an exceptional fighter pilot in his home world, so it stands to reason that he should help defend the ship. He is cautious and methodical in his approach, and consequently rather efficient at repelling attackers. But let's face it... he usually has a wingman, and Anakin isn't here. You're more than welcome to be one, though.

20th: He has requested the use of a scanner, but beyond that, he will be doing his best to organize the personnel he fights alongside. He's got military experience- and was, after all, a General- but even the best Generals can't enact a plan if nobody is willing to work with them.

21st: Obi-Wan will be working with any personnel who'll help him on organizing ambush points within the city, including means of obstructing the paths in case they need to fall back. Even if they can't fully repel the invaders, they can at least slow their advance.

22nd: When the shifters first attack, Obi-Wan will be caught in a dream shift and will need assistance being freed. After that, he will begin hunting down the dream shifters and trying to help those influenced to get free, and if he can find anybody else willing to assist him, so much the better.

23rd: Obi-Wan will be occupied for most of the day hunting down cultists, though a large portion of that time he'll be unaccounted for- off doing his own thing. If he encounters anybody in need of aid, of course, he'll assist however he can.]

20th

He especially hates being bossed around by adults.

But at least he gets to fight something, and as much as he doesn't like it he can recognize a leader when he needs to. Mostly.]

That one Malnosso guy said there'd be lasers. I just want to fire some.

Sailor Mercury has left her suit to become a spare, and has been helping out as much as possible.

When resources demand it, she's quick to be at the infirmary or provide first-aid and healing to the best of her abilities. She's learned her skills through medical school, and through earlier drafts and missions in Luceti.

When possible, and especially when accompanying others, she takes to the battlefield herself. Her attacks are water and ice, which she uses often to cloud the enemy's vision or slow them down. She also wields a sword, but notably, she goes to great lengths to avoid killing.]

[ Of course Moon is often to be found near her - the soldiers have to stick together, right? She doesn't have anything as impressive of a weapon, but she's making sure to hold her wand with her to attack the enemies with the energy attacks it's capable of. In fact, she manages to cover for Mercury's back right now right as an enemy attempts to attack here. ]

[Mulder admittedly enjoys the thrill of being in space, but despite his enthusiasm, he also knows he's here for a serious mission. It's just that this was a boyhood dream, and he's living it. Not so much the part with fighting Third Party fighters, of course...]

19th: [Mulder has totally played enough video games to use the Tyr-Fighters... well, ok and he did a little training, too. But he ends up drawing on that experience, and every Star Wars-like movie he's ever seen, to deal out there. He's definitely more cut out for ground fighting, though.]

20th onward: [Mulder is all over the place, making a defense against the enemies when they attack. He'll gladly step in and help anyone who looks like they need it out there. He's always one to look out for the noncombatants, so if someone needs a guard or a rescue or anything, he's up for it!]

[Several times while he's up there, Mulder is also going to be spending a great deal of time examining the skies, watching for signs of anything out of the ordinary. Of course THAT might lead to a few close calls, as he'll be sort of preoccupied.]

21st

[Roji is in the middle of helping evacuate some civilians to safer areas when he spots Mulder nearby. Hey, that's one of the CH7 residents, right? Roji's sure he's at least introduced himself at some point. On top of that, he noticed Mulder helping out on previous days, so he decides to ask for some cover. Really, he needs all the help he can get to keep everyone safe.

His voice is strained and a little nervous when he calls out.]

Ah, excuse me! Are you free to help with evacuation?

June 21st—23rd

[By now people should know where this guy likes to linger around and keep an eye on everyone. He scales up to the highest spot the dome has to offer (just a few stories ain't much, man, even if it's space and therefore excused) and waits. When the fighting breaks out, you may find that the enemy you were about to kill just... keeled over head. There's a dude in the distance with a scope who's totally stealing your kills. No offense, bro, just downing them all before anything bad can happen.

Or maybe you're in need of some scope-tastic rescue. He can do that, too. That's why if you're about to get stabbed or impaled (whatever colorful terminology you'd prefer), you might find someone offering a little back-up. Granted eventually on the 22nd on his third patrol, he'll find himself in a shitload of trouble when a winged jerk swoops down and grabs him by the shirt, trying him as high as the fucker can go before he just. Drops him.

Whelp.

On the 23rd (after surviving from nearly splatting) he'll offer some ground support with his M4, finding whoever needs aid from the Third Party. Of course there might be a time he'll be the one needing some help, because at some point he's moving up behind a dented-up wall while a volley of arrows narrowly misses him. There's a ton of big wings in this area. A little too many, he thinks.

He can be caught down from his sniping point getting ammunition or food from the 21st until the fighting gets really heavy. Or one can even meet him up there, for whatever reason they may have. Maybe company is nice, or something. He likes company, anyway: social butterfly despite his separative occupation. Maybe you just got tossed into the roof he's chillin' on. It happens.

He expects anything, at this point. :|]

[The fights don't give much time to watching others. But more than once, she does notice Rick up high. Notices him staring out of a scope like one he had showed her once, notices how moments later, the enemy he was aiming at is down. It's impressive. Very impressive.

Especially when it saves her more than once.

But a promise is a promise. He had said that he would protect her. She had promised the same thing. How couldn't she? He's the first person she's learned to care about here, someone that isn't Peeta or Rue. And at one point, when one of the bigger winged people get too close to him on the 23rd, an arrow pierces the enemy's eye.

Later, when all the fighting is through, she seeks him out. Looks him over from head to toe.] You're still okay.

[ In the end, she picks up a gun. A handgun. It's worse than useless, especially outside the ship, but it makes her feel better, even if she has absolutely no idea how to fire it. She keeps a scanner on her, too, though she's not doing much incapacitating. If she can use it, she does, and may even try and stop or flag down a fight to use the scanner, instead. Feel free to take exception to this interruption.

19th: Despite her best efforts, she spends a not insignificant portion of this day, after 3 PM, freaking out. It takes her about an hour to figure out what to do, and how to do it, and that time is spent in desperate, panicked hiding. But eventually, she gets her head together and heads for the Tyr-fighters. Instead of climbing in one, she spends time - as much time as she can - studying them, investigating how they work, trying to understand as much as she can in as little time as possible. At around 7 PM, she finally climbs in one and tries her hand at flying it. It's still terrifying, but she doesn't die, and, well, she's a fast learner. She manages. Once they reach the moon base, she returns. From there, she'll offer to anyone who looks like they (and their ship) need it what repairs she thinks she can manage. A thing she can do? Play mechanic.

20th-22nd: Things continue much this way. Jane makes herself useful by playing to her strengths as much as possible. She doesn't fight very much at all, largely because she just doesn't know how, but she's there to tag cultists when the opportunity arises. On the 19th, she can't help but sneak a chance out on the moon just in her space suit, experiencing low gravity and smiling for maybe the first and last time of this ordeal. Otherwise she's running around, keeping her panic in check by helping coordinate whatever she can - a lot of her focus goes to helping protect the citizens of the main dome, doing whatever she can to help keep them safe, by coordinating evacuations or helping get people medical attention they desperately need. She learns a great deal about first aid in these few days.

On the 21st, she again takes a Tyr-fighter out for a few hours. She's really not half bad at it, though no great shakes, all told, with a total lack of pilot training and no resistance whatsoever to the physical hardships of piloting a fighter craft.

More than once, she will get into a scrape she cannot get out of by herself. Give an astrophysicist an assist, here - because she is so out of her league.

23rd: By this day she is a well-oiled machine at what she does, with enough confidence to issue orders if necessary to get things organized and moving. It feels good to help out with repair work and clean up - because this is a thing she can do, and do well. Really, she's just sort of numb by now and running on autopilot until they can damn well go home. But her show of competence is very convincing - so much so that, now and then, she even fools herself. ]

19th is good?

[Green isn't overly fond of the idea of using the turrets or learning to pilot the Tyr-fighters, so instead he's helping people scramble. He's seeking out anyone that may not be fighting...

...Such as this young lady! He's not angry in his approach, but he is a bit rushed and stern in tone as he speaks.]

Hey! Are you unprepared for the fight?

[19th-20th: On the first two days, Claude does as much piloting as he possibly can. He's pretty darn good at it, too! He might even seem reluctant to give it up when he has to call it quits each day. I-it's not like he was enjoying it or anything!

21st-22nd: Once the Moon Base has been infiltrated, Claude will be fighting strictly inside the structures. He sticks to the areas closer to the city, his priority to make sure that not a single cultist gets past him. Claude fights with pure strength alone—no magic or fancy tricks here, just a guy and his obnoxiously powerful antimatter-built sword. He can handle a few enemies on his own, but he never minds extra help!

23rd: Now that the fighting has calmed down, Claude spends his time hunting down any of the remaining cultists. He'll be much more relaxed now compared to previous days where the fighting was nonstop, and he'll be much more willing to stop and chat, particularly with those helping with the clean-up effort and repairs.]

20th hope this is cool...

[After a long day of battle, Misato is waiting for him back on The Liberator - she'll be there when he docks his Tyr-Fighter and returns to the main part of the ship. She has her issued space suit on as a precaution, hair tied back in a ponytail and helmet held beneath one arm.]

You did good today. [Hope you didn't mind her yelling instructions to you via journal all day...]

twenty-second & twenty-third.

[ on the twenty-second, after her battle with the general, buffy is going to run into a dream shifter. this horror of a time is locked to jack sparrow.

after that? on the twenty-third she'll be infirmary-bound. buffy's injuries are extensive and unpleasant-looking. she'll only be spending brief amounts of time awake, but if anyone is around and willing to keep her company? she'll be gruffly grateful. ]

22nd

The space suit was itchy. Itchy and sweaty and he hadn't heard ANYTHING from her. The pirate had done everything he could to not think about Buffy's battle with the General. He'd thrown himself into work, into fighting. There had been no sleep. Today, though, he'd had enough of waiting. It was time to find her and kiss the living daylights out of her and say yes we should live in an apartment together and will you reconsider becoming my wife I promise to be good.

Jack kicked a bit of electronic rubble out of the way as he strode toward the front lines of the battle. It was always better to know; and if her body was lying out there somewhere, he would bring her home.

Except.......The pirate was brought up short by the sight of Buffy Summers trapped within what looked like a bubble made of light and difficulties. ALIVE. She was alive! Jack allowed himself a very brief thank you to Mother Universe before running toward his Annie.

[19th, 3 PM-9 PM

Absolutely no one with even a speck of sense would let Grune anywhere near the Tyr-Fighters or turrets or explosives, and so she'll be on combat duty only. She'll discover quite early on that some of her spells don't work exactly as expected--particularly Aqua Laser and Brilliant Lance--so she might need a little bit of help as she learns to adjust. After that, though, she should find her stride fairly soon and will be tagging as many cultists with her scanner as she possibly can.

9 PM on

Once she settled, Grune will alternate between exploring the base and helping out where she can. Someone may be needed to get her to bed down in an appropriate place; otherwise, she'll simply fall asleep wherever she feels tired.

20th

Regardless if anyone tries to get her to stay inside, Grune will spend most of the day fighting outside. Even in a situation as serious as this, she still has fun with the low gravity and is in good spirits as always.

21st-23rd

And she's back inside! When possible, her priority will be defending any noncombatants, but if her friends are in trouble--or, well, anyone at all--she'll be in there with eres blazing. On the last day, she's likely to spend at least some of the time helping the noncombatants, although mostly she'll be involved in the last of the fighting.

On all the days, she'll be looking to join up with groups either small or large; she works best with someone to defend her as she fires off her spells. Anyone up for a little teamwork?]

20th

[Okay, Norma was pretty iffy about this whole "fighting in space" thing from the very start, but now that she's out of the ship and compound itself does she really experience how unbelievably awkward and difficult this all is. She bounces, practically flies, even! It was fun in the beginning sure, but fighting the Third Party and trying to dodge weapons and blows and stuff was...difficult, to put it simply.

Thankfully, Norma's eres are at their strongest, and she's trying out the stronger of her dark elemental spells - Black Hole to be specific. She keeps close to Grune, not wanting to let the woman go out on her own too far. It'd be nice if they had someone to distract the Third Party with, y'know weapons and fighting and stuff, but beggars can't be choosers. Besides, between the two of them, their spells are doing some high damage, and Norma heals up any injuries while Grune continues casting.]

Just like last time, huh, G-Girl?

[On the 19th, there isn't much Mia can do other than watch the fighting and pray that no one is lost or seriously hurt. She's no good at flying or firing at people.

As soon as they're at the base, from the 20th to the 22nd, she pretty much parks herself in the medical facilities and helps the injured - be they draftees or refugees from the city once the breach happens. She's not the only healer available by any means; nevertheless she feels responsible for anybody who shows up, at least to check on them.

Occasionally she leaves, either to take a walk and refresh herself (though Psynergy doesn't seem to regenerate nearly as quickly out here) or if there's word of a particularly difficult confrontation nearby where they might need some help.

She's just happy her ice and water abilities even work here.

Mid-day on the 22nd she'll encounter a dreamshifter. All the peace and happiness she could dream of make a powerful lure; someone will have to rescue her.

And then, in a surprise attack on the 23rd, she's going down for the rest of the fight. Chances are it's a small group of people with her helping fend off some of the remaining cultists - she's going to just wear herself out, which will be bad news if she's all alone.]

20th

[Tony doesn't encounter Mia in the medical bay (as he probably should, though his injuries from the first few days of fighting are minimal). He does run into her when she's walking about the ship, though, as he heads to find something to eat. He doesn't know her well, sure, but he's still glad to see her in one piece.]

How bad is it? The med bay, I mean. I already know the whole situation was kind of bad to begin with.

[On June 19th, Green will be remaining on the ship, saving his party's strength for later. Instead, he will be helping people make preparations, getting them out on the battlefield faster by gathering the supplies as they suit up or other similar small supportive tasks. He will also micromanage confused fighters, giving them instruction to follow so they aren't aimless.

June 20th: Instead of getting hand-to-hand in this moment, Green will be using the built-in radio channels to provide support to fighters from a distance, alerting them to enemies in their blind spot or directing them towards a better area, et cetera.

June 21st and 22nd is when Green will do most of his fighting. His Pokémon are able to fight only without space suits. He will be acting as support as he explores this new environment; he will be finding those who might be against unfavorable odds and provide support until they are set and clear once more.

June 23rd is when Green will do a final headcount, making sure those he followed alongside in combat are fine and especially making sure his friends are alive and well.]

21st

[How unfavorable would Green find the odds of a group of foot soldiers plus an elite working against a boy and his Taillow within the Moon Base? Because while it seems pretty one-sided, the enemy is being knocked down as fast as others regain their footing. Which is something Chien is trying to stop, even if it... so isn't working, uh huh.

Protecting citizens was hard this is why he never did it Soren... The bird's trying the best he can, too, for such a small size.]

[19th 3PM-9PM: The first day is purely spent aboard the moon base, scouting around the area with her hollow ghosts for the best place to hide her body while she's out in her spectral form. She won't be doing much battling this day, instead, keeping to hiding and avoiding most fights and Third party members as she possibly can. She might even scope out the stronger fighters here and there, for someone to possibly follow around for security reasons. Hey, a girl's gotta value her life.

20th: Is where the battle begins. Having found a suitable place to keep her body safe and out of danger, the girl emerges from it in her spectral form and floats aimlessly through walls and objects alike, heading out and into battle. There, the majority of her attacks will be with her Negative Hollows - the ghosts wafting carelessly through wave after wave of Third Party members and bringing the poor fools to their knees with grief and woe. Hehe, seems even these fools can be affected by them, that's nice to know. From then on, they're easily cleaned up with a flurry of her exploding Tiny Hollows, or just one large Special Hollow.

21st and 22nd: Perona's still fighting this time, but she's moved her body to another location to be doubly safe. And while she's mostly fighting for herself - stress and anger relief on other people works wonders, don'cha know - she...may assist a few people who look to be in a pickle or something. Best to help them out than feel bad and guilty about it later or something. Perona doesn't want that kind of weight hanging over her shoulders, it's annoying.

23rd: The last day is when Perona will return to her body as last and stay in the base the entire day. She wants to rest forever, this stupid war was exhausting and a huge pain, but she'll be checking on a few people that she knows were drafted. People she wants to make sure are okay, at least. M-Maybe she'll even go to the infirmary and help out...maybe.]

[Albert spends the battle through the asteroid belt monitoring the usage of the turrets and generally staying out of the way of combatants and those with more knowledge of the technology; he directs volunteer pilots and gunners to stations when necessary, but otherwise remains hands-off for the fighting on the 19th.

It's when they arrive at the moon base that he has more time to gather his bearings, and when organization becomes more apparent. He finds himself being issued command of other draftees, fortifying barriers and coordinating with the Security Forces. He is kept aware of the fighting outside on the 20th, but does not have any exposure to the battle.

The moon base is breached on the 21st with the arrival of the General, and his command grows as pilots and gunners retreat to take up more defensive positions within the base. He is on the ground more, talking to battalion commanders and using the few skilled mages to set up waves of support boosts for concentrated attacks on the invading forces. Though he takes more risk by being on the ground, he wants to see the General for himself.

The morale of the Third Party seems to boost even further with the General's presence bolstered by the arrival of the Dream Shifters on the field on the 22nd. He hears reports in the first few hours of individuals being ambushed and driven insane--a new tactics by the enemy's standards, further aggravating the draftees' shaky morale. However, there is a significant boost in morale when the General is reported slain by the Commandant, and the fighters ride the momentum for the majority of the day.

The 23rd is when he finally gets more than a few moments' rest for the day, and he busies himself over casualty reports and directing draftees in the repairs of the breached perimeter. After a cup of coffee, he even accompanies a search party to keep his body functioning at the same level as his mind.]

June 19th or 20th

[Elicia's been hiding out in the medical area--and she's been cut off from the serious injuries, but she does have her own room where she draws and wears a stethoscope; it's really cool! Her station has a little sign (someone helped with so graciously) that says BRUISES + SCRAPES HEALING STATION. If anyone's been mildly injured, she's here to help out; she's got boxes of bandaids and cotton swabs and everything. And Miss Nala's teachings. That always helps. She's gotten pretty darn good at it recently.

If anyone wants to find her in her little room or check up on her to make sure she's not having tea with a Third Party member, she'll be here.]

She'd helped out in the main part of the infirmary when she could, offering an extra pair of hands as needed, but now that she's taking a small break she's ducked back to the quiet room with her journal and a pencil]

[19th-20th: Murray has acquired a droid body! So expect to see a robot like figure with a winged skull mounted on it as its head. He'll mostly be at the turrets and seeming to have a lot of fun with loudly uttered comments such as:]

These are better than cannons! HA! Who's firing the shots now?

[21st-23rd: Murray will be fighting, though not very well. He's not exactly competent with his new found body. He does talk a good fight though and is keeping up a nearly constant stream of chatter while fighting:]

Cower in fear before Murray the mighty...er robotic skull! My visage will haunt you for the rest of your days! Your very short days! Bwa ha ha ha! My metallic fist will end you!

[However, by the end of the 21st, Murray has run into trouble and has had his body blown up. A disgruntled skull sitting not too far off from bits of droid body may be found grumbling.]

Not again...How come I always miss out on the fun? Now all the others get to fight without me! Boooring.

[On the 19th, Eusine will mostly be trying to come up with some space-specific strategies. It doesn't mean he won't be doing any fighting, just that you'll find Jumpluff is strangely absent from the fray. He's not sure what the cold void of space would do to a grass/flying type, but he'd really rather not find out.
He's mostly going to use status effects, paralyzing and putting the cultists to sleep with Electrode and Haunter. Even better if he can hide in a crater instead of taking them head-on. After that? It's tagging time.

On the 20th, Jumpluff is still absent... but Eusine carries even more balls on his person than usual, as well as some sort of bazooka-looking thing he nabbed from the armory. What are those balls, you ask? Ammunition for said bazooka. Ammunition containing some assorted spores from Jumpluff, more precisely. Side effects include life leech, slowness and annoying cotton spores in all your exposed orifices. How do projectile weapons work in zero g? It's magic. Or maybe Rule of Cool.

The 21st and 22nd is when he's most likely to shine. He'll be defending people inside the domes, still using his previous tactics... but you'll find he's strangely good at knowing when to back down or when to let other, more competent people take over. He also has a knack for popping up at all the right times, helping out people who were previously getting overwhelmed by cultists or setting up a distraction so everyone can escape safely.
He can be a good supporting character! A good supporting character like you wanted!

On the 23rd, he'll continue his support role. Other, stronger fighters will probably be looking for the remaining cultists, so he'll end up helping with the repairs or search parties.

All of this without having his seemingly unlimited supply of energy run out. How he does it is a mystery.]

[Time for you to show what you can do, Eusine. Green's here, and on the 21st he's battling himself. Right now, Charizard is out, wearing its space suit but definitely not its helmet. Blast Burn would not have been very fun for the dragon. Green has also been playing support, but at the moment, he's taking offensive, letting Charizard swing with Fire Punch at some cultists and staying very close to his Pokémon. You manage to time in quite well, arriving just as some cultists start making it around Charizard to where Green is standing! Best he can do is punch at them, but he will look quite glad to see another Pokémon trainer.]

23rd - Locked to Vincent Valentine

[Even the most brilliant of strategists can make mistakes at times. Jay had gone out scouting, but apparently the location he chose was a bad one. The Third Party cultists had snuck up on him. Luckily Jay had sensed them coming before they could sneak attack him, so he sprang into action. It seemed like an endless onslaught were coming just to take down this lone fighter. Jay moved as quickly as he could, hurling his exploding daggers at the distant enemies, and kicking the ones up close. But as more and more of them came within attacking range, his defenses were soundly penetrated. He took more and more hits until he dropped to the ground, running out of breath...]

[Vincent has been doing some scouting of his own, and he'd caught sight of Jay around the area not too long ago. He'd gotten sidetracked by some cultists himself, but after he deals with those, Jay isn't in the location he'd expected.]

[Noticing a battle nearby, he wonders... and then grows concerned. He hadn't seen so many in this area, so that alone troubles him. Such a sudden, unexpected attack can only mean an ambush. And worse, he notices a familiar figure, seeing him briefly before he loses sight of him in the crowd.]

[19th on the ship: See here. Mostly she's collecting her friends and allies and enjoying Spaaaace before she gets to business starting to next day.

20th on the moon: Not that she didn't go to the moon base before, but on the 20th is when she sets to work in earnest. On this day she's mostly doing more minor oles assisting in evacuation of civilians for the most part. She's also chatting up more and more (NPC) draftees from other enclosures to get everyone talking on the same radio frequency. Other people can encounter her in the course of this though, and she'll likely be followed at her posse (Minato, Shiki, Kyon, Rhyme(?)) at some sort of distance.

21st, 22nd: And here is when Haruhi and probably her posse (tm) are doing cool things. While everyone else is fighting, other people need to coordinate getting the civilians to evacuation zones, getting the injured ones to medical care, and making sure none of the damaged equipment from the attack is going to cause problems in the long run (gas explosions?) Haruhi'll be around running through the city barking out orders and coordination into her helmet monitor.

She'll probably have one or more of her support team in the area of her but she might be pulled apart too. Over the course of these two days a large number of non-primary combatants are getting lumped under her orders so if you want to be there that's cool - report things on the radio to her so she can work out solutions with other NPCs, that sort of thing. Otherwise, this is also the best day to be saving her from certain doom at the hands of cultists while she is trying to save everyone.

23rd: And today she's doing much the same as she did on the past two days, but without the danger. She probably has lost some sleep, but to be honest it's only served to inspire her more with the battle mostly over. She's also calling out locations of cultists-in-hiding spots to combatants she's gotten from her radio network if you want to be in on that]

[Haruhi's intel had been spot on. Just two cultists when it came down to it. The small hunting group Sokka had attached himself to had cleaned it up readily. Even though he'd been ready to fight, the two MSF soldiers and their Shift Hunter had made quick of the enemy. For now, they were regrouping with the other draftees they were with to contact their superiors. The Commandant, probably. While they were doing that, Sokka decided to go tell Haruhi about the results.]

[19th on the Ship: See here. Mostly making a lot of alliances (mostly with NPCs), some clean up, and other things on the ship. He doesn't bother to get off at the moon because his battle is frankly better suited to being in space. Coordinating turrets and units of Tyr-wings

20th-23rd on the ship: Which is what he's doing every other day. You can encounter him either over the radios in the helmets (where he'll be clarifying things the units he's leading are doing or ordering you if you jointed his forces) to strike at key asteroid targets, performing stings to blow them up, striking aerial cultists en route, all sort sort of stuff.

Also recon. As he does not have access to a proper war room such as what he would have on a command carrier, he's relying mostly on descriptions from his pilots and what he can see both out of windows near him and out of windows other people are looking through for him as a non combat role. Which is why, when you see him on the ship, he'll actually be sitting at a table near one of the turret batteries, moving little model things which represent ships and asteroids and the Liberator (as well as the other ships) around to know their positions visually.

Sometime on properly the 22nd (and maybe a few other times as well) the cultists are going to get a unit inside the Liberator and some of them are going to make it to the turret room he's hanging out in. Watch him show his own personal combat prowess with a pulse rifle here, or maybe help him out with it]
