[...The heck is a Haunter? The heck is a Pokemon? Sounds like some kind of candy. Not a ghost. Ghosts don't make her nervous, per se, but it's still pretty weird to think that a spirit is helping a human. These Pokemon must be really strange.

It's a matter of vibrations, isn't it? Your mastery over the ground allows you to pick up cues as to where everything is located, much like Zubat use echoes to detect their surroundings.

[don't tell him you don't have zubat, those things are freaking everywhere And this also explains why she couldn't see Haunter, since he floats. He likes his explanation.

Dunno what a Zubat is, but it's more like a badger mole. I can see with earthbending. And everything leaves distinct impressions. It's definitely better than seeing with useless old eyes.
