[He is an honorable warrior. He never uses surprise attacks. And he always addresses his opponents if they address him. This man attacked without the decency to announce his own presence. The General sees no reason to hold back. All at once he's blazing forward with a powerful thrust of his wings, the blood in his hands transforming into a pair of twin blades. His first strike will be to attempt to disarm his opponent.]

[Gai is fast and strong, a trained fighter with years of experience despite his young age. But what he isn't is anything more than a normal young man; fending off or dodging bullets or knives is one thing. Blades aren't really something he's ever gone up against, and the initial surprise of the General's BLOOD becoming a weapon is just enough to slow him down enough that the blade strikes home, catching against his gun and wrenching it from his hands. Gai's no fool-- he's not going to try to hang onto it, choosing instead to sidestep swiftly and attempt a roundhouse kick aimed at the other man's back.]

[It connects. And hits his wings. Enough to make the General groan in pain, but not enough to bring him to his knees. And when he spins around, the bladed weapon extends its original reach as he goes for the gut.]

[Once again, that attack is beyond what Gai is expecting (an extending weapon? He's quickly learning not to underestimate this man), and though he leaps back, the blade opens a shallow gash in his abdomen. It's not enough to stagger him, however, just makes him scowl as he jumps back again, this time reaching for his handgun at his side to fire off a few more quick shots.]
