There will be a thread for interacting with NPCs, but they may not all go up at once, so keep an eye out for them.

Note: A log for the events in the village will go up on the 21st, in time for the hurricane and droid incursion.

[On June 19th, Green will be remaining on the ship, saving his party's strength for later. Instead, he will be helping people make preparations, getting them out on the battlefield faster by gathering the supplies as they suit up or other similar small supportive tasks. He will also micromanage confused fighters, giving them instruction to follow so they aren't aimless.

June 20th: Instead of getting hand-to-hand in this moment, Green will be using the built-in radio channels to provide support to fighters from a distance, alerting them to enemies in their blind spot or directing them towards a better area, et cetera.

June 21st and 22nd is when Green will do most of his fighting. His Pokémon are able to fight only without space suits. He will be acting as support as he explores this new environment; he will be finding those who might be against unfavorable odds and provide support until they are set and clear once more.

June 23rd is when Green will do a final headcount, making sure those he followed alongside in combat are fine and especially making sure his friends are alive and well.]

[How unfavorable would Green find the odds of a group of foot soldiers plus an elite working against a boy and his Taillow within the Moon Base? Because while it seems pretty one-sided, the enemy is being knocked down as fast as others regain their footing. Which is something Chien is trying to stop, even if it... so isn't working, uh huh.

Protecting citizens was hard this is why he never did it Soren... The bird's trying the best he can, too, for such a small size.]

[Young trainers, oi! There's a blur that moves between the new trainer and the oncoming force. Green is not far behind, and roughly grabs Chien's shoulder to get his attention and to move him a few paces back.]

Stay close!

[Wh--]

Who the hell are you?! [And why are you getting between him and his enemy?! Soren trills just as angrily, but just swoops back into battle with his new teammate. Whatever, it's cool by him as long as he gets to knock skulls around.]

Green. Your senior.

Scizor, go!

[The blur becomes a bit more clearer, as a giant metallic red bug. It attacks the cultists, slashing at them in a wide arc and pushing them back enough.]

We don't need help. Let's go, Soren!

[Soren trills his thanks at the bug despite Chien's words and dives right on after his trainer back into the heat of the battle, tripping up one of the cultists by flying between their legs while Chien leaps upon it with... unnecessary ferocity, to be honest. Even if it kind of leaves both open for attack.]

[Even if it did, Scizor is there to clear the cultists away just fine. Green gets close, himself, and is frankly appalled at this "trainer".]

[Did someone say unfavorable odds?

Raven, working largely alone, keeps finding herself in just such situations, needing to rely on her sword more and more as her Rune energy runs low for the day. Just now she's locked blades with a cultist who seems intent on running her through as soon as he gets the opportunity.

She's a good fighter, but combat really isn't her thing. That's why she makes accessories.]

[Green's fairly quick to respond! Scizor slashes at the occupied cultist.

Green's entirely silent on the matter, simply moving close to Raven and eying the scenario for a moment to decide his next move.]

Scizor, Metal Claw!

[As a red thing brushes past her to slice at the cultist, Raven's head snaps to the side to look at Green. Another of those children who makes friends with monsters. ...Like Silver. Hopefully not so much like Masaomi but she won't get her hopes up.

Nor will she say thank you.

What she will do is join Scizor in beating their enemy back; she's pretty good at avoiding being in the way of attacks she can hear called to her partner.]

[Scizor is also fairly good at not attacking where it might cross into friendly fire - it is an extremely well-trained fighter, moreso than most Pokémon tend to be.]

Slash! Disarm!

[Scizor keeps cutting up the arms of the cultists to make holding weapons muuuch more difficult.]

[In a strange and uncatchable way, she likes this. Teamwork with a monster, the way things would've worked at home, even if it's not quite the same here.

She's using her sword to down them, needing to conserve energy for fire magic at other times. They work well together.]

[Scizor much appreciates the lack of fire in its presence - it does not do very well with said element, being Steel/Bug.]

[Green himself is running towards a new hallway with fewer enemies; the perfect place to bottleneck the current number. Scizor helps clear a path towards Green's target for Raven.]

[Awright, on the moon. Gonna totally do a moon jump--...oh right, supposed to be fighting down here. ...Well, if there aren't any enemies near by, there's no harm in screwing around, right?]

Senior Green, how do my surroundings look?

You're looking just fine. You should try and pick up slack in other areas.

[You're up for it, right?]

Show me how well Red's trained you.

[He wants to see how wild and creative with your attacks you are!]

...okay it's on now. He's bringing Red into this, and Red is his Senior, man! He's gotta show that what he learned from Red, after all.]

[I'm having such a hard time figuring out how to tag into these so I apologize for my lateness, sob.

But yeah hey, there are quite a few foot soldiers over there, Green! And it looks like they're starting to head over this way, too. What do...?!]

Yellow, don't dawdle!

[He isn't going to break out into protecting you because hey, you can protect yourself. He will, however, be coming in from the side with Scizor.]

R-right! Let's go, Dody!

[The bird will go ahead and makes its way over to the vanguard from behind her. They've got this..!]

[Green sends Scizor to cut a clear path ahead of Dody for it to build up speed, running after the group.]

Don't hesitate, Yellow!

I won't! [She nods firmly and makes her way a bit closer to the group, making sure to keep at least some of a safe distance. Geez it's been a while since she's had to do something like this. Definitely still not fond of it though, but... gotta do what she's gotta do, right..?!]

[Indeed! Green directs Scizor to Slash and Metal Claw through the army, breaking hands and cutting up knees.]
