I've been chillin' out on a star with my 5 star view

Summary: The battle finally begins! First there's asteroids to take down, then we finally arrive!

All the details you need are here, so read up on it. This didn't get mentioned before, but you can tag the cultists instead of killing them. Details on this are on a previous draft post. Using the scanners are optional!

There will be a thread for interacting with NPCs, but they may not all go up at once, so keep an eye out for them.

Note: A log for the events in the village will go up on the 21st, in time for the hurricane and droid incursion.

[Blast, blast. These soldiers would not stay down. He draws his saber and enters a guard, interposing himself between the cultist and the fallen bird.]

"You may wish to consider running."

[The bird can't hear him. The cultist doesn't want to listen to him, engaging Obi-Wan with his own weapon instead.

If the fight keeps up for more than a few minutes this way, the Jedi will find a metal sword joining his bright one, and a red-haired woman at the other end of it, slow but determined to help take this guy down.]

"Very well, then."

[The cultist attacked. Fortunately, this was a defensive fight, and Obi-Wan happened to excel at those. He seems to have little difficulty parrying and blocking the cultist's blows without losing ground, and using strikes of his own to keep the cultist from moving away from him too much.]

[Soon enough Raven is up and able to join him, thankful for the one-handed bent of her usual weapon because her non-dominant arm is pretty much useless after that crash. She can hear the lightsword sizzle as things happen to it, thinking she ought to stay clear just in case.

After using up most of her magical energy she isn't moving well; it'll be up to him to hand out some kind of finishing blow.]

[He's alright with her staying clear; one-on-one combat with a powerful opponent was never a problem for him, it was finesse and precision that were his greatest undoing- and the cultist had neither. He moved too fast for Obi-Wan to counterattack between blocks and parries, but he's perfectly content biding his time until finally, the cultist slips, slows a moment in exhaustion- and Obi-Wan drives the lightsaber into the shoulder of his weapon arm, then withdraws and strikes at his heart.]

[Oh. ...Good, sort of. She didn't watch him kill the soldier. She's unsettled up one side and down the other about fighting what appear to be half-birds who can show their wings all the time, different to the people who live in Luceti.

Not a lot of that is going to show while she's busy sheathing her sword and sitting right the heck down. Things are spinning and her arm and shoulder throb in time to her fast heartbeat.]

[The saber is deactivated and clipped to his belt, and he kneels beside her.]

"You are quite welcome. Are you alright?"

Hmm-mm. [She shakes her head, bringing her free hand to her shoulder with a quick breath.] All out of energy.

[That has nothing to do with your popped shoulder Raven.]

"We should get you back to the infirmary. You can walk?"

Yeah. In a minute.

[Nothing wrong with her legs. She's realizing that he is probably smart enough to connect the vanished bird with the person here in front of him, though. That'll slow her down. No matter what Silver says about the people here, revealing her secrets is difficult.]

[Obi-Wan nods and gets to his feet again, then offers her a hand.]

"I can help you... we have to move quickly. More might be coming."

[A silent nod, and she struggles to get up on her own before taking his offered hand with a scowl. Accepting help isn't something she's used to either.]

I didn't see any.

[They're stragglers, mostly. ...She's going to need to lean a bit for this walk. Hard as that is to admit.]

"Perhaps. It is better to be cautious."

[He waits a moment, then adds rather quietly.]

"I can carry you, if need be."

I can walk.

[It's just exhaustion and a dislocated arm, it's not like she's bleeding much. ...Actually, those are both fairly serious for her and she isn't used to being so injured, at all. But she can walk and she will, slowly and with a jerky step. The more she's able to slow down and concentrate on walking instead of fighting, the better she will feel.]

"Simply an offer."

[Albeit perhaps one meant to goad her into action. Somehow, warriors always represented the offer to carry them.

He might have used it on Anakin once or twice.

He falls into step behind her, casting around them for signs of Third Party cultists, despite her insistence that they were safe.]

[Lucky for him she doesn't feel up to figuring it out.

Also lucky that barring unforeseen circumstances there will be no further interruptions on their way to the infirmary. Obi-Wan could probably handle them; Raven could not.]

[He is more than happy to proceed for the remainder of the walk in silence, though he never lets his guard down until they're inside the secure section of the base.]

"There we are. I assume you can find your way from here."

[He certainly assumed she'd resent any further attempts to escort or otherwise coddle her, and he was satisfied of her safety.]

"Oh, and I don't believe I introduced myself. Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is an honor to make your acquaintance."

[Raven nods. Coddling doesn't go over well with her, though she's not looking forward to having her injuries treated either way.

She does look at him when he tells her his name.]

Raven. ...Thanks.

"Of course."

[He bows respectfully, then, satisfied that she'll make her way from here, he turns and heads toward his next task.]
