[Tis a mingling post. Mingle! Seriously. The orchard's lit up, there is alcohol, there are snacks, there are mikan. There's also piles of coloured paper for much later, but that's another story.

[Nami, pls. Perona blinks slowly, and then puts on a smile that's perhaps just as chilling as Nami's. She claps her hands together and quirks her head to one side, lifting a leg.]

Oh, so, sorry~! I didn't think to get you anything, Pirate Woman! You see, I'd lost all my treasure and belongings before I came here! I left it back on a ship after some stupid, mindless pirates destroyed my home! Horohorohoro! [Ahahaha...haha...ha. :|] I haven't forgiven you all completely...regardless of what you and your crew have done for me so far. You're all very lucky I owe my life to you, otherwise I'd do more than just make this happy little gathering a little more gloomy.

[NYEEEH. Out comes the tongue - like a mature adult - before Perona brushes Nami off and goes to get a drink and food. It better be good.]

Mmm...by stupid, mindless pirates, you're talking about Oz, I assume? Because if I recall, he's the one who trashed the place. And oh! Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you the one who loaded your treasure and belongings onto our ship?

And then you! If it weren't for Kuma, I'd have had my way and defeated you, and been free to set sail! Whatever you did with my treasure, my possessions, I'm holding you to it all! I want it back one day, even if it's all in favors! This will be the first favor. I'll have fun here, and I'll count it towards your debt, pirate woman.

[Congratulations, Nami, you're just rendered Perona speechless - an impossible feat indeed.

She pauses, her mouth still open, then blinks and looks down at her clothing, the usual ensemble she wears almost everywhere. Was...was Nami being serious? Of course it's adorable, but is she just making fun of her? Or what she really being serious?]

Ah... Do you really think so?

Oh, definitely. Finest collection of T-shirts I ever saw.

Yeah, sorry, but no. Perona's going to follow right after, hovering at Nami's shoulder and huffing slightly.]

D-Do you still have them? My clothes...are they all here? I can't find anything that suits my tastes in the stores unless I get really lucky! And sometimes when I do, it doesn't fit!

[Man, she said that to get under your skin-- she wasn't expecting puppy eyes. (She was totally wearing your T-shirt when she fried Oz.)]

They're not. But given the point in time you came from, you'll probably have bits and pieces of your wardrobe turn up eventually.

You know there's a couple designer shops in town, right? They'll make you whatever you want.

[At this point, Perona is quite literally hovering over Nami's shoulder, her feet floating about a half foot off the ground as she floats along. It's the most she can do in her physical form, without completely hollowing out her body and leaving it behind as a spirit. Designers are nice, but that means she has to wait, and Perona's no even sure about their skill.]

But then I have to wait... Mmh, but that would be the best thing to do... [Oh, decisions.] Where do you get your clothing, pirate woman? You look to be the same size as me, maybe a little bigger.

[In the chest area. >_>]

I pick it up from the general clothing store, and then I alter it myself as necessary.

[ROCKET SCIENCE.]

...I don't know how to sew...

[Or cook. Or clean. Why do you think Perona has a butler come and do those things for her daily?]

Well, while you're here you may as well take up a new hobby. Either that, or your only other option is to wait, I'm afraid.

[Hnn...but, but that takes effort! And Perona's kind of lazy, and very spoiled - getting what she wants when she wants by just commanding it. She pouts, and whines quietly then hangs her head in defeat. Seems Nami's right, and if she doesn;t want to wait, she has to learn all kinds of things to suit her needs. Maybe Hayate can help, but she's not sure if he knows how to sew. And even then she'd still have to wait.

Ugh. Uuugh, she doesn't want to admit defeat to the pirate woman! It's not fair, it's not!]

...Aye. Maybe I'll try.

[Nami really doesn't know much about Perona at all, apart from that brief meeting at the docks-- which is probably just as well, because you know otherwise she'd be making smartass remarks about spoiled princesses right now. Instead she just beams and pats Perona lightly on the shoulder.]

There, see? You'll be just like all the other prisoners here in no time.

[Of course, that's not much better. Even if there was actually a tone of sympathy in there.]

[Twitching, and scowling at the comment about being a prisoner, Perona shrugs Nami's hand off. Woman, that's...th-that's not funny! She never wants to ever have to be a prisoner! Once was enough with the scientists that kidnapped her, and just...guh. That word has so many bad associations.]

I won't be anyone's prisoner!

And yet here you are. [Nami's tone is flat, but the half-smile she directs Perona's way is without malice.] Just like the rest of us. If you don't like it, take it up with the Malnosso, not me. Not that they'll listen.

[Perona bites her lip, takes in a deep breath of air. Living in Luceti isn't so bad as long she Perona has stuff to to do occupy her mind long enough to not think about being a prisoner and stuff, but being so brutally reminded of it...]

You're a very cruel and distasteful woman. [She sticks out her tongue.] Hasn't there been even one person to ever break free? I would have thought your rubber boy would have done the impossible by now! His head is thick enough to warrant a good chance...

He's tried. [Suddenly serious.] Believe me, everyone here has tried. If you want to complain about that, maybe you should be looking around for the people who are working on it.

[Perona is honestly a little shocked. Sure she assumed Luffy'd tried, and maybe even knew deep down in her heart that he'd failed, but denial is the hardest thing to get through. Considering she was also hoping he'd be the one to demolish the barrier holding them all in...it's a little harder to grasp, too.]

But that idiot took on Moria-sama! And you yourself escaped that perverted beast! And if you're all here, then that means you've survived everything else, doesn't it?! You beat Moria-sama, and...and--! I don't want to be a prisoner! I'm not supposed to be! I'm supposed to be back home, drinking my favorite hot cocoa and being wait on hand and foot by all my cute servants! I'm not supposed to be captured, a-and tormented, and almost drowned! I'm not supposed to be here aaaah!

[SOB.]

[...that moment when you feel kinda bad for someone you were tempted to bitch slap just a few moments before.]

Sniffle, sniff. Perona's going to definitely drown her sorrows in alcohol tonight though, absolutely. It better be good ale, too, or she's going to complain right to you, Nami. Still looking a little distraught, but loads better after her tantrum, the girl just pouts and nods her head slowly.]

I want a big mug of what you have! And it better be good, too! With foam, and it has to be a little strong. Then I'll feel better.
