Yeah, the pinwheels kinda suck. [Nami: telling it how it is since '97. She reaches out for one of the boats, handling it delicately.] But these are great. You like sailing?

[He watches her take a boat with a smile, though it's not all happy now.] Yep. I only sailed once though.

I'll have you know on good authority that the celebrant loves boats. [She grins back at him, only to tilt her head fractionally as she catches the odd quality to that smile. Bad memory, maybe. She hands him back the boat and flops down on the ground to offer him a hand to shake.] Nami. This is my orchard.

Oh, Luffy's navigator! That's you?! [See the happy shine back on his face as he shakes her hand.] Great to finally meet you! I'm Sabo, Luffy's other brother.

Well, I've known Ace since we're both five. Then we met Luffy almost a year ago. Stuff happened, and we've been brothers ever since! [That weird, sad smile he has earlier returns briefly.] They did more growing up together than me, those two.

It really was. [Her eyebrows raise at the doffing of the hat, but Nami smiles.] I think the whole crew was staring. Frankly I'm amazed how the two of you have such good manners and Luffy just fails on every level there.

[Laughing even harder.] Oh, Ace is just as rude as Luffy when he was a kid! Even worse, actually. He used to spit on people he doesn't like at first, Luffy included!

Because Luffy's a clingy, annoying, noisy crybaby when we met him, and Ace hated that kind the most.

[Yep, this kid is a fountain of embarrassing childhood stories about those two. Especially Ace's; Luffy's, he just considers as part of being a baby still.]

[Oh god, she's actually startled into laughter at that.] Seriously? Well, he seems to have adopted Ace's views on that as an adult. Or as much of an adult as Luffy can be, anyway.

[Grins.] Somehow, I'm not surprised! He always did his best to stop crying whenever Ace gets pissed at him. I guess since it made him a lot stronger, he's now using it to help others too.

Hey, Ace is only three months older than me. And Luffy's certainly not my big brother! No way. Not when he's still shoving chopsticks up his nose!

[LOL whoops, stumbled onto some pride there. >_> That's okay, Nami just grins.] Well, I kind of meant in terms of height. So far you seem more mature than the both of them put together.

[Grumble, grumble.] I'm gonna grow taller than those two...

[Sighs.] One of us gotta be one. We can't all be reckless and stupid all at once. Someone always ends up getting almost killed when we did, and it's usually Luffy.

Imagine that. Now that he's older he's still reckless and stupid and we're the ones who nearly get killed as a result. [So deadpan. But really, it's clear she's pretty fond of him anyway.]

[Yep, he noticed that one. So he's just going to laugh again.] You must have a lot of crazy adventures, huh?! I bet he chooses where to go all the time. The more dangerous, the better. Or something like that!
