What: Tanabata + 2nd Cross Pageant

Where: Outside the Brigade HQ: Pageant Stage In the Plaza in front of House 37 (which no one lives in right now)
Summary: First it's the Cross Pageant, then the normal Tanabata stuff the Brigade does such as supplying bamboo to tie wishes to and fireworks. Some food and drink supplied

[Tanabata in the form of few sub-threads below! There's going to be four:

One, for people performing in the pageant, details will be in the top comment of the subthread, but this one if for people to make direct responses to their appeals as well as to write out what they were and what they do.

Two, for general mingling during the pageant. For the judges and audience and all that jazz.

Three, for the wishes people write up for Tanabata - eighter just to note them or for people to spy on your writing them or tying them up or reacting to them once up or whatever!

Four, finally, is at the end of the night when there are fireworks being launched to go with all this stuff, for people to mingle/watch the show

Hmmm... Eferin, huh? Where did you meet him? Do you remember? I've been looking for some of the spirits for a little bit now, but I haven't found any.

I just... heard him around, I guess. The forest, maybe?

Hmm. Lots of the spirits seem to be in the forest. Anyway, I'd like to thank you for organizing Tanabata. For me, it's a little taste of home. And I needed to make a wish this year. Thanks.

It's fine... I do it every year because Tanabata- [...] Well it's an important and understated holiday, you know!

I'm glad there's someone to do it! And it is an important holiday- who doesn't want a reason to make a wish? Well, that's not what's important about it, but you know what I mean. [He chuckles.] This is one of Luceti's little blessings... if I were still at home, I'd be fighting or living in a new world or dead, not making a wish.

Huh, so you're one of those people? [A little huff, and she tugs on her sleeve] That makes sense.

One of "those people?" What's that supposed to mean? [Hiro looks more than a bit puzzled now.]

Some hero who's going to end up saving the world or something like that, right? There's a lot of people like that in Luceti.

Um... well... haha... Sometimes I kind of want to say no, I'm not a hero, I'm just a guy who's helping out. But I guess, given all the things I've done so far, which includes saving people... I am a hero. And I'm going to be part of the group that ends up saving my world, unless another group beats the one I choose to join. It's a little complicated.

[It's not that she's uninterested, per se, but she is uncomfortable with the quick sharing and all that. Plus she's not nosy]

Yeah... [He can tell she's a little uncomfortable, so he's going to change the topic. He's got a good social intuition that way.] So, your SOS Brigade... what would you say is its role in Luceti? I mean, you guys plan events, but what else do you do, if I may ask?

Ensure that the people in this barrier are living worthwhile lives with their time here, obviously! We're a support group here to make sure that the joy of life is appreciated.

A "support group," huh? I like the sound of that! I'd consider joining, but I'm not the best at planning events. I can help people out, though.

Oh... uh... [Zap. That shuts him down just a bit. But that's okay, he can take it!] I'm just good with people and thought I could help with the "supporting" aspect. But I'm probably best off just enjoying the Brigade's services, I guess!

[Ohhhh, so he was being tested. Ooooops.] Oh, I see! Heh heh, you just sounded a bit like you didn't want me possibly joining for a moment! Well, I was just thinking about it, so I wasn't so sure. But I was serious- I can help out with people who are in a tough spot. I've done it before.

Even if I was, if you wanted in you'd show a bit more strength and fight for it? Come on, haven't you heard of typical story progression at all? Jeez.
