Beach Volleyball Tournament

What: Volleyball Tournament
When: July 22nd, 11am onward!
Where: The Beach!
Summary: Fun in the sun and a bit of competitive spirit! If you signed up for the volleyball tournament, be prepared to rock the house down against the opposing teams! Just there to watch? Enjoy the seats around the volleyball courts as a spectator and have a refreshing drink or some beach-side snacks! SWIMSUIT REQUIRED for everyone there. If you're found by someone in charge without one you may or may not be subject to getting mysteriously kidnapped and put in one, human or not. That's right, even chihuahuas if there are any have to at least have a cool straw hat and sunglasses.
Rating: PG-13. Please try to keep it PG-13 max and warn in the subject header for anything iffy!
When you first arrive, there will be a huge board with the brackets for the tournament on it:



{{ ooc: All of the brackets were totally randomized using RNG on random.org. Unfortunately, I don't have all of the muns memorized so if I put your character against another one of your character, PLEASE let me now ASAP and we can get that fixed! If there are no replies to a match within one week, that team will be disqualified as having not showed up, just so that we can keep going. After the first week, it will be 3 days. (The first week is to account for Otakon, since I know a lot of people are going to that.) }}

After you pass the sign, there are multiple volleyball courts set up, ref towers, lots of beach umbrellas and towels set out on the sand for viewers, and waiters and waitresses handing out drinks to anyone who comes by, courtesy of the local bars. Alcohol will only be available to those who are 18+. It's hot, too, so make sure you don't forget sunscreen!

Well, if you're going to talk like that... [He starts to back up.] I'm going to have to prove you wrong.

[Wait... he's actually going along with it. No death! She can't help but smile.]

[It's shallow enough here he doesn't worry about the depth. He can swim underwater, just not tread water. So he immediately dives under the water. Working his way around her.

Someone will be grabbing her legs from behind.]

[That's surprising.

She tries to break free of his grip.]

Ling!

[avaricious]

[Nice try, but he's going to resurface and when he does, he's going to try and loop an arm under her knees and head, so he can carry her out of the water.]

What are you-? [She gasps as she lifted up, wrapping her arms around him and clinging to him.]

[avaricious]

[He emerges from the water with a huge grin. Holding onto her tightly.]

You don't seem that much better now.

[GRRR!

She let's go of him though and looks very conflicted in his arms.]

I do not wish to hurt you though. [GDI! He's always going to win because he'll always be her prince no matter what.]

Well, you're not in much of a position to hurt me, are you?

[Hmm. Hmm. What shall he do with her?]

Well... [She hates doing this, but they did do it when they were kids. So... she elbows him in the chest, just hard enough to shock him into letting her go.

SORRY LING!]

Oof! [Well. She's getting dropped. He certainly didn't expect that! It's a good thing her spiked automail arm wasn't the one against him.]

[She'd never do that ever!

The second she was back up, she was back to panicking.]

I- I'm so sorry! Are you alright? [This really goes against everything she is. She's all talk really.]

[Okay. Ling? He doesn't laugh. He smiles. He grins. He playfully gloats. But he doesn't really laugh.

This time he does. Because Ran Fan is just too amazing, apologizing like that.]

Youn- Ling? [So much confusion. But he seems like he's fine. He is laughing, which actually makes her smile. He does have a great laugh.]

You're soaked, Ran Fan. [Amused. The poor girl must be terribly uncomfortable with all that clinging to her.]

You are as well. We should find you something new to wear. [Cause she could careless about her wet clothes.]

[avaricious]

I'm not wearing as much as you are. I'll be fine.

Are you sure? I can go back to the house and grab new clothes for myself and for you.

Are you sure you wouldn't rather have something that dries faster?

What do you want me to get?

[Well, if she's asking. He suddenly grins.]

What the other girls are wearing would seem most appropriate, don't you think?

[CRAP! Wearing that in front of Ling? Can she just die now?]
