Beach Volleyball Tournament

What: Volleyball Tournament
When: July 22nd, 11am onward!
Where: The Beach!
Summary: Fun in the sun and a bit of competitive spirit! If you signed up for the volleyball tournament, be prepared to rock the house down against the opposing teams! Just there to watch? Enjoy the seats around the volleyball courts as a spectator and have a refreshing drink or some beach-side snacks! SWIMSUIT REQUIRED for everyone there. If you're found by someone in charge without one you may or may not be subject to getting mysteriously kidnapped and put in one, human or not. That's right, even chihuahuas if there are any have to at least have a cool straw hat and sunglasses.
Rating: PG-13. Please try to keep it PG-13 max and warn in the subject header for anything iffy!
When you first arrive, there will be a huge board with the brackets for the tournament on it:



{{ ooc: All of the brackets were totally randomized using RNG on random.org. Unfortunately, I don't have all of the muns memorized so if I put your character against another one of your character, PLEASE let me now ASAP and we can get that fixed! If there are no replies to a match within one week, that team will be disqualified as having not showed up, just so that we can keep going. After the first week, it will be 3 days. (The first week is to account for Otakon, since I know a lot of people are going to that.) }}

After you pass the sign, there are multiple volleyball courts set up, ref towers, lots of beach umbrellas and towels set out on the sand for viewers, and waiters and waitresses handing out drinks to anyone who comes by, courtesy of the local bars. Alcohol will only be available to those who are 18+. It's hot, too, so make sure you don't forget sunscreen!

Nothing, let's stick with that. [ wow rude but that's okay he prefers rude. it's easier to deal with than a hundred 'sorry that you're dead' apologies. ]

Naww, wait, I get it. This is about the dying thing, ain't it? Sure, I feel bad about it. But you ain't going all dawn of the dead on me, so it seems you're doing alright. You're not a vampire, right?

Not a vampire. There are vampires here though! If I were a vampire I wouldn't be out during the day.

They say that, but in movies people are always like, "Whoa you can't be a vampire, you're outside." But then the vampire is all, "Naww man, vampires can totally go outside. That's just TV stuff that says we can't."

That's just because people are weird and want to go on dates with vampires and they can't enjoy a semi-average relationship if they can't go out in the sunshine so they make up stupid things.

Riiight. So you're just some kinda vampire expert, then. Is that right?

No, but that just seems stupid and made up.

[cannoneer]

Says the girl who's dead and has wings on her back.

[Technically Cyborg has wings too, but they're locked away under the metal armor on his back.]

I'd probably be the most invincible vampire if that did happen considering I can heal from anything that's non-fatal already.

So you'd get more weaknesses?

What if I kept them and suddenly I could stand out in the sunlight because I kept healing from the burning as it happened? I'd be like a super vampire!

A pretty cranky vampire. Nobody likes sizzling.

Well yeah, but I could go around like that. Not something all the other vampires could say.

Unless they're like those ones on TV, anyway.
