I never found you offensive--and I don't think the others did either. They were probably confused and uncomfortable, since naked bodies are kind of taboo in a lot of cultures.

You can blame several centuries' worth of religious education, thanks to the Catholic church. Their lessons have become so ingrained in every day society that people no longer think of the original religious connotations. It's just an unspoken truth of society.

That...saddens me. But if that is the way of things, I can only either change them, or accept them. I don't see why I should be ashamed of my body. I think its a fine one, this form I keep.

[She laughs and holds out a hand]

Lupin smiles sheepishly and accepts her hand.]

[With that she lifts Lupin up like a sack of potatoes and jumps off the roof, landing with bent knees, gently setting him down]

The sudden act of being slung over her shoulders brought on a sudden bout of the spins, and it wasn't helped by the sudden jump and change in elevation. Lupin groans at the onset and holds fast to her as an anchor as they sail for a tense heartbeat.

His knees buckle beneath him when he's set down, the combined effects of the Shift and his Penalty finally rushing at him with full force since the experiment was over.]

[Rationally, he understood that he was likely telegraphing more than he realized or even wanted to accept. She was also a god, with more experience than he could imagine.

Of course I could tell. You walk funny, and have trouble standing. Its like...if someone kicked you in the side of the head or something. And, your ki is following funny, like its being blocked.

[She crosses her arms, scrutinizing Lupin's movement]

To the left, huh? I was noticing that myself.

[He slowly picks himself up out of the grass, mostly because his pride wouldn't let him sit in front of a woman much longer, no matter what her strength and experiences amounted to.]

The ki issue would probably be the cause of my problems then. It's a little souvenir from our benefactors for something we did as a village last month, not natural, and it's not going to be going away for a while.

A curse? Yea, that might be the best description, but it's can't be removed anyone except the people who placed it on me in the first place. Convincing them isn't a quick process either.

Know her? [Okay, laughing a lot now.] She's my Angel--though I came up with calling her Dellie back in February. The only reason I didn't go with 'Del-chan' or 'Deli-chan' is because she's French and probably wouldn't appreciate it.
