Are you...going to be alright? That is a lot of pudding.

[She asks, not out of concern, but more out of morbid curiousity. What a weirdo. But she settles in to watch]

[cannoneer]

Don't worry. I can handle it. It is pudding, right? People keep telling me that the stuff I'm eating isn't really food.

[He stares dubiously at the pudding.]

[faithfulflame]

Yes, it is pudding. Usagi-chan ate our way out yesterday...but today its back.

[A confused pause]

What...have you been eating?

[cannoneer]

You know. Just stuff.

[That's the last of the pudding. He hops up beside her.]

Man. I think maybe I ate too much.

[faithfulflame]

You ate a river of pudding. If that isn't too much I don't know what is.

[She offers him a napkin]

Water will help. Wait here.

[A moment later she returns with a large cup of water]

[cannoneer]

[He'll sit down and wipe off some of his face with the napkin. When she brings the water, he down it all at once.]

Whew. I'm not sure that helped.

[faithfulflame]

You're supposed to drink it slowly. Sit, take a rest. Let your stomach settle.

[Spirits...what was with this guy? A robot?]

[cannoneer]

[Well. There's no water left to drink slowly. Oh well. He's sitting at least.]

Naww, don't mention it. That was delicious. Besides, saving people? Kind of comes with the job.

[Rei blinks]

If...you say so. What's your job, then?

[cannoneer]

Teen Titan. So, local superhero.

[faithfulflame]

Oh? I've never heard of the Teen Titans. What is your name?

[You've got her attention. Teenage superhero herself and all]

[cannoneer]

Cyborg. Nice to meet you.

[He'll offer a hand. Which even despite him being a pretty big guy, is a fairly large hand already. Part of the whole artificial hand gig.]

I'm Rei. Rei Hino.

[She...eyes that sticky, pudding covered hand with absolute disgust. Clearly she's thinking she should just shake...And instead decides to just bow and pass it off as cultural ignorance.]

Thank you. Would you like to wash up?

[cannoneer]

[Yeeeah, he's seeing that. He does end up licking some of that pudding off. And shrugs.]

Yeah, don't wanna get all this gunk stuck in my joints.

[She opens the door and gestures to the kitchen.]

What sort of heroic things do you do, Cyborg?

[cannoneer]

[He'll come following in. Casually looking around the place. The only other house he's been in is Tony's.]

We usually leave most regular crime to the police. Me and the other Titans fight supervillains. Threats to the city. Aliens. Ancient demons. That kind of stuff.

[faithfulflame]

[She leads him inside and gives him time to wash himself up while making polite small talk. She's interested, but she's not sure about this guy. He's kinda gross.]

Oh? Aliens and demons, huh? That's interesting. Have you been doing it for very long?

[cannoneer]

Yeah. A couple of years now.

[Okay, first the hands. Then he'll work on the arms. And his face. He's gonna need a shower for his legs and everwhere else.]

[faithfulflame]

Fascinating.

[She offers him a towel, just to give him something to dry off with]

And, I guess the call you cyborg because you...are one?

[cannoneer]

Yeah. Stick with what works, right?

[Drying them hands off now. That's better.]

[faithfulflame]

I suppose so.

[She bows again politely, and this time offers a hand]

[He takes that hand. Shake.]

So, Rei, huh? Is that Chinese?

[faithfulflame]

[THAT draws a genuine glare]

... right, my bad. [He offers a goofy, apologetic smile. He keeps getting that wrong.]

Its alright. Just...remember, alright. Its a little insulting, from both sides, to be called the other.

[Her glare softens. He really is just a big doofus]
