Summary: Apep, an Egyptian god of Chaos, possessed Helios and wrecked havoc. Those involved are going to have to cope with their injuries, mental traumas, and newfound night terrors!

No. There is currently no reason for silence anyway.

Afternoon. Don't think we've met. I'm Luke, Luke Skywalker. Thank you for taking Lupin in for the time being.

Luke's my housemate, and a good friend. He's been on missions for most of the last few weeks, which is why you didn't meet him the other day. He was involved in the mess we had during the storm back in June, so maybe wires got crossed somehow and you two just didn't intersect?

[Everything was different. There was so much about Law that he simply didn't know before this, like his connection to Itachi and the fastidious care with which they managed the house.]

That would seem to be the case.

[He gives a more formal bow now. And since Luke doesn't sound Japanese like a name from his country...] Itachi Uchiha.

It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

[Strange that they hadn't crossed paths before, yes. He wasn't close to Law, but he had been to the Doctor's house at least twice now, and spoken to him several times. Was this the strong connection he'd felt during the battle?]

I apologize if I disturbed you. I came to confer with Lupin about our recent troubles. I'll be dismantling the traps and returning them to you soon, as well.

[Such formality. The only other person among his associates who was that formal was Goemon, but there was a subtle gruffness even there. The ronin had much to learn about social graces, but Itachi...

[Itachi just shakes his head. No apologies are needed from either of them.]

We all have similar goals here. It isn't any trouble.

I'm given to understanding that it is, in fact, a Chaos God's fault, and not yours Lupin. I can manage. You should rest.

[Luke bows politely, guessing by the man's name that he's Japanese or some variation there of]

Again, you have my gratitude. Lupin is quite the rascal.

[Rest, rest. He had been resting...but he knew he was at his limits. The look in Luke's eyes was not one that he could argue with, no matter how much he wanted.

He wasn't under house arrest, but he was stuck regardless.

Wearily, Lupin nods his head in a similar gesture.]

Just...don't overdo it then. You're important. [To Lupin himself, and to several other people.]

...I don't think I'm ever going to be able to thank either of you two enough for all of this.

If you must thank someone, you should thank Law. I require none.

[There is a small bit of a smile on his lips when he tilts his head back toward Luke.]

Mr. Lupin is not anywhere near the most difficult individual I've dealt with.

Is he not? To hear him talk, he's the most troublesome individual in Luceti.

[He laughs, noticing the smile, and the small herd of cats gets a nod as well]

[He'll find a way to thank Law. This is now a second large debt he owes the pirate, and he's not certain how he'll repay them.

The commentary earns a laugh, however.]

Oh, ho! If you think I'm bad now? Well, you all ready know what I have planned. [He winks conspiratorially at Itachi.] It will be flashy, but a damn good show!

[Itachi doesn't look too impressed, but he's not rolling his eyes or anything either.]

I see.

Well, you're hardly the most troublesome man I know. If I thought that, Han would be obligated to one up you.

[He shrugs at Itachi, a sarcastic grin on his face.]

He's some sort of master thief back home, he says.

Oh, please. There's nothing wrong with having Internationally Wanted Prankster status--[except for all of the complications--]

At the very least it will get people to smile. That's what we need right now.

[Lupin reminds him a bit of, well, a couple people he knows from his world.]

But do you need anything else in particular, Mr. Lupin, while I'm here?

[It was an odd question, but one that Lupin was slowly getting used to hearing. He was used to planning the impossible and charging ahead, not playing it quiet--or whatever this is.

The smile faltered as he paused to honestly think.]

...I don't really need anything else right now, Itachi. It's just nice being around people.

And I should be going. I need to sort things out and clean up the traps before someone accidentally gets hurt.

[Luke offers Itachi a polite bow and nods to Lupin]

See you around, Itachi. Nice meeting you. Thanks again for keeping Lupin out of trouble.

[Itachi can understand Lupin's need for company, even if he himself doesn't usually seek it out. He gives Lupin an understanding nod, then turns back to the jedi, the red having left his eyes.]

I hope I'm not running you off, but I won't keep you.

Not at all, but I've got a lot to do, its a bad situation at home and I need to find Shepard.
