Summary: Apep, an Egyptian god of Chaos, possessed Helios and wrecked havoc. Those involved are going to have to cope with their injuries, mental traumas, and newfound night terrors!

[Bandages can only go so far when there's a Jedi Grandmaster looking for you. Luke doesn't want to disturb her, but the moment he feels her presence enter the square, he just...steps out of a space between two buildings and falls into stride beside you.]

Hello, Sabriel.

[Sabriel tenses at the sound of the footsteps beside her and glances warily over her shoulder...and is honestly surprised to find Luke there. She had known he had gone but after everything that had happened it felt like it had been months since she last saw him.]

Luke...hello.

[thefinaljedi]

[Wordlessly, Luke lays his hand on Sabriel's shoulder, Force Healing rippling between them and alleviating at least some of her pain. Her body would heal faster, the power speeding cellular regrowth.]

I hope...you aren't in too much pain. I'm sorry to see you like this.

This is nothing I do not deserve.

[Slowly her tension fades under Luke's touch. For a moment she glances up at him, lips parted to speak but...she dips her head and says nothing. It takes her a minute before she can sort her thoughts and control her emotions before she speaks.]

Do you know what happened?

Not to you. Enlighten me, my friend.

[He leads her to a secluded bench, his hand guiding her whether she likes it or not. There is no taint in her, at all. And that leaves him wondering...]

[Damn it Luke, why do you have to be so kind? Sabriel doesn't have the heart or the strength to fight his lead so she shuffles quietly over to the bench and takes a seat. Once Luke is seated beside her she beings, her voice pitched in a low murmur.]

Mr. Dresden had warned me that Mr. Sprensonne was possessed. It had attacked him, and then later that day it attacked Red and Adele and the other tenant from your house. I tried to stop him but I couldn't...and when I failed, he changed me.

[Luke remains silent, passively listening to the girl as she explains the first part. He knew about this stuff, but he hadn't heard Sabriel was...changed. And the way she said it conjured up images of the vision Nomi had shared some months before]

And...you...fell, for a time, didn't you?

[Sabriel nods, her hands clenching into fists over her knees as she tries to keep them from shaking. She won't cry, not here.]

I did things. Terrible things, to people I care about.

[Luke can't help but wrap his arm around her, a gentle but reassuring pressure, he hopes.]

Have you talked to them, dear?

[A little tense at first but she slowly relaxes and leans against him, his arm light enough to not aggravate her injuries.]

Not yet. I just got out of the clinic today. But...I need to sometime soon.

[thefinaljedi]

[He looks down at her, gently running his hand along her arm, infusing more of the Force into her.]

It will be alright. They'll understand. Thats what friends do.

I hope so.

[Passing a hand quickly over her eyes she lets out a soft sigh. Her mind still felt heavy with guilt but sitting with Luke was starting to make it seem...manageable. After a moment she looks up.]

How are you, Luke? It's...been a while since we've had the chance to sit and talk.

Me? I've been better, I've been worse.

[He sighs himself, his cybernetic hand squeezing the bridge of his nose, a habit both Adele and Leia shared.]

I don't know if you heard, but Anakin was sent home. And Ami was kidnapped some weeks ago.

...I didn't know. I'm so sorry Luke.

[She rests her good hand on his shoulder, giving it a gentle, supporting squeeze.]

Its...alright. Anakin is in a better place.

[Its Ami he's worried for...]

Ami will return too. Her things are still here. And while I'm sad, I know that when she gets back I'll be there to help her recover. And, I look forward to seeing her again.

[Yep, Luke's voice is kinda trailing there, definitely more going on that just friendship, and he's not really sure how to take all of it.]

[...That hint of fondness as he speaks of Ami doesn't go unnoticed but it's not Sabriel's place to pry. Instead she gives his shoulder another squeeze and a small smile.]

If there's anything I can do to help when she returns, you'll let me know, won't you?

[He squeezes back, grateful]

Of course. She'll probably need people to talk to. And I'm sure she'll be glad to see a friendly face. She's fond of you, you know.

She's a very sweet young woman, she's been nothing but kind to me ever since we met.

[Perhaps after she speaks with Rei...they could organize something for Ami.]

She'd love to hear you say that, even if she'd be blushing profusely.

[He laughs gently]

And I'm sure she'd say the same about you.
