Summary: Apep, an Egyptian god of Chaos, possessed Helios and wrecked havoc. Those involved are going to have to cope with their injuries, mental traumas, and newfound night terrors!

[Doing the hard things that need to be done...in a way, that's what Sabriel's role of Abhorsen is about as well. It's a hard and dangerous title to bear but it must fall to someone. By the time Sabriel sits back she feels a lot...lighter.]

I remember little things from my time as a Clayr, and it seemed like it would fit.

I need to get in touch with the people who showed interest at the mage group meeting and arrange a time for the next step. This...should be the last one.

I'd rather have your Free Magic contained as much as possible. And I want your Charter Magic to return.

I would rather use it only for its intended purpose; laying the Dead to their proper rest.

[Really, Sabriel is just as eager to get her Charter magic back as you are Rei.]

When I get the Charter established here, there's a possibility that I might be able to teach it to others.

The baptism is simple, it's more a matter of whether the Charter accepts the person or not.

[Tilting her head thoughtfully she considers that fact, as well as a couple of others.]

[Her voice actually sounds pretty excited. That would be a really useful skill. Magic...that wasn't part of Sailor Mars? Wow]

In exchange, though, I think it would be good to teach you how to use Shinto ritual. I can teach you how to make ofuda scrolls, and to purify.

Good. Its...actually fairly simple, though. I imagine Charter Magic will be much more difficult.

I'm afraid so, I've been learning it for thirteen years now and I've only just scratched the surface. But, I can teach you the basics for protecting yourself as well as some handy tricks.

I...would like that. And, I think you could pick up Shinto rites fairly easily.
