Summary: Apep, an Egyptian god of Chaos, possessed Helios and wrecked havoc. Those involved are going to have to cope with their injuries, mental traumas, and newfound night terrors!
Rating: R, for possible trigger warnings for descriptions of violence and bad language.

I'm not too certain, either... but I think that it's been resolved. At least, I hope it has been... what about you, Aang? Have you been all right?

There's no need to worry about me. I've been fine. I was just a little sick from some tea not so long ago, but otherwise things have been pretty quiet since that last... really weird shift. [But a bit too quiet for his liking - with the absence of Korra.] Everyone's healthy at least. I just wish I had known about this problem and could have done something to stop it.

I think I missed most of the experiment, but I'm glad you're feeling better. [And how do you tell someone to not feel guilty for something they had no control over? Especially someone like Aang, who had a lot of pressure in himself for that already.] I understand why you'd feel like that, but don't torture yourself too much over it. There are always things beyond our control that happen, no matter how frustrating the thought can be.

Yeah, I... I know. After all this time here, I guess I should be getting used to it.

It's not an easy thing to do, especially when so much happens here. But there are only so many battles that we can take responsibility for on our own.

[He gives a somber nod. It's an idea Aang had to struggle with back home, too - with the center of this struggle being whether or not he could have helped the air nomads if he hadn't run away.]

You're right. At least... everyone's gonna be okay, right? [Including you.]

Yes, I believe so. [Whether or not there will be lingering issues is another story... and she knows she still doesn't know the full details of what happened. But, for Aang's sake, she won't voice those thoughts.] It just takes time.

That's good, then. [It helps him to feel less guilty.] I don't wanna disturb your rest for much longer, now that I know you're okay and all. [He gives a sly smile.] after all, I do have some homework to do.

It's all right. Seeing and talking to people helps a lot. [As does food. For that matter, she finally goes to look through the little bag of goodies he brought with him.]

I bet it does. And as she goes for the bag...] I hope you like them. I didn't have time to try baking, so I just grabbed the freshest treats I could find from the bakery.

It all looks very good to me. [Smells good, too. She pulls out a napkin, and a smaller pastry.] Thank you, Aang.

You're welcome. ...Oh! And I brought you this, too! [He frantically reaches into a pocket, then presents... a small clump of sky bison hair.] For research.

Yeah, on Appa! I thought if you had some fur "samples", you could use them to do a research on him. It's really old fur!

It does sound interesting! I'll have to make some time for it when I'm well. He truly is an amazing creature!
