[She doesn't feel guilty, just, oops?]
My apologies. And my sympathy.

...Where are we going?

I'm walking you home. I just wanted to talk to you.
[Saori shakes her head, knowing exactly what's running through Sabriel's head]
I truly am sorry, and...I want to help you get better. I do feel that I have wronged you, and I owe you.
no subject
How?
no subject
How? I failed you. I should offer some recompense, should I not? Otherwise...you...will be angry with me, yes?
no subject
[Because Sabriel could do with some help...]

[No good with people]

I wouldn't say no to a friend...
no subject
[Have a very, very relieved deity, giving you the biggest hug]
The most auspicious meetings are always those that end with sharing tea. I knew when I met you we'd be good friends.
no subject
I...thank you Saori. I'm glad we met when we did.

[Saori is used to living in a world of cardboard, Sabriel, you needn't be so surprised.]
I know you're in pain right now, dear, but...its been my experience that humans need time. Should you need someone to talk to, I am very, very experienced in listening. It is...what my kind does.

[She can't help it, there are no gods in her world. Not like Saori at least. When she has recovered from the initial shock she pulls back a little to look up at the goddess.]
You weren't injured in the...in what happened, were you?
no subject
I...used most of my energy to seal Apep though, which is going to be hard to recover until I manage my anchoring ritual.
no subject
Your anchoring ritual?
no subject
[Saori just nods]
I am not a creature of this world. None of us are. So I cannot draw in ambient energy. With the ritual, I can anchor my spirit here, and thereby absorb that energy.
no subject
[The ritual however sounds an awful lot like what Sabriel is trying to establish with her Charter stone.]
no subject
[Its similar, but different as well]
no subject
[Sabriel nods.]
I've been working on something similar to be honest. Not for myself but for my magic.

My blood. The magic I draw from is known as the Charter, created from five Great Charters in my home world. During the creation my bloodline was born, which means the potential of the Great Charter lives in me. In order to use my magic, I need the Charter stone to act as a foundation, a drawing point.
no subject
[Yes, you can trust her, Sabriel]
What is left that you need to do before the ritual? I will help, however I can.
no subject
My next infusion should be the last. The process has to be done by myself but I have some friends who are willing to give me some support during the making.
no subject
[Saori gently puts an encouraging hand on the much younger woman's shoulder]
Can...I ask you for some help with something, Sabriel-san?
no subject
Of course.
no subject
[A grave responsibility to ask, but necessary]
Can you visit me at the end of the week, and help me make my way home? I do not know if I will be able to so much as walk.
