[She frowns a bit and flips her book closed. Whoever this was she can't help but think there's no room for argument.]
What has he done this time?

[At the moment.]
Lupin asked me to look out for you... [And she looks slightly worn -- The Spartan could recognize that look anywhere.] Some way to rest afte rthe last days.

[It's easy enough to begin formulating an apology or excuse for Lupin's behavior- but that offer. Lupin telling someone to keep an eye on her? Stops her mid word. She's uncertain how to respond for a moment when it finally registers. The description, at least, that she's been given.]
...You're Daisy, aren't you?

[It always does. Sob.
The tall girl sits beside her, bending her legs a little as she sits in a chair too small for her.]
I wondered if you wanted a place to stay for the coming days. Me and a friend can help you.

[Adele moves a bit to the side to provide more room for Daisy, and she must admit it's more than a little awkward to watch her curl into the chair. Life must be somewhat inconvenient when everything is sized for people smaller than oneself.]
...That is...That is very kind of you to offer Daisy. I would appreciate it.

I'm... sorry if it becomes too loud. I sometimes have to work on my suit of armor. But we'll try making good noise. My suit recorded the music Chopin made while he was here.

At the moment there is no such thing as too loud. [A beat.] Chopin? Frederick Chopin?

He used to be here for a while. He even played at a party...! [Her knees meet. For a military girl her size... there is hidden glee.] I recorded the time in which he did. He's amazing with the piano.

I can't imagine be so fortunate as to meet him. His work is all but beyond compare, and I enjoyed learning his pieces while I was studying as a young woman. To hear him perform in person? It must have been wonderful.

[Not only that. She usually contains her glee in a way Spartans would tell it. Right now even Adelle would see it.]
I... never got to learn to play music. But it could be something you'd like.

[She offers Daisy a half smile and considers for a moment. She'd have time enough on her hands in the coming months. Why not?]
I am no Chopin, not by far, but if you still wish to learn how to play the piano I would be more than happy to teach you.

... We don't usually need the third one.
[........
She blushes as she says this.]
no subject
[She's curious, but not one to pry. That blush was oddly sweet. She'd go so far as to say adorable, even with the juxtaposition of build and demeanor.]
That is very sweet.

It's become habit. We were about to give it away, but... She's been spending a lot of time with me. She's a great cook, too.
no subject
[That makes the mental image all the more adorable. Adele can't help the smile that comes after.]

[Not mentioning the chest, given everyone in the Grand Line seems to be too well endowed, apparently.]

[Blushing a little. Then, she stands back to her full height.]
We can get you settled now if you wish, ma'am.

[It's a little surprising to watch her stand- sweet. Shy. And so very, very tall. Even though she didn't know her well Adele already felt at ease. She stands as well and almost huffs a laugh at how very tiny she felt in comparison.]
I would appreciate that.
