The night is finally here! Pinkie Pie and friends have been working hard to get everything absolutely perfect. The Battle Dome has been done up to look like a grand ballroom, complete with dance hall and dining area. A small, but elegantly decorated stage is situated in the middle of the dance hall, and is equipped with microphones and speakers for anyone willing to perform. Otherwise, the dome is set up to play songs on request.

The dining area is equipped with a buffet-style dinner selection, filled with food contributed by various donators, highlighted by a large cake at the central table, which is then surrounded by smaller tarts, pies and pastries. Wine, champagne, and other choice drinks are available from ice chests near the buffet line.

Finally, since it was so popular with the last party, the night will be ended with a fireworks display over the dome. Afterwards, Pinkie Pie will be going around making sure everyone gets home safely, before returning to the dome to start cleaning up.

Note: Like Pinkie's last party, this one has a theme: a Masquerade Ball. Everyone who enters must wear a mask, and keep it on for the entirety of the party. If you haven't picked one out yourself, Pinkie would be more than happy to provide one for you.

[ Ikki claps her hands together, delighted. ] Really?! D'you think he wants to join the cat kingdom??

[markofthewise]

Just as long as the cats don't try to eat him, I think he'd be fine with it.

[breezing]

They wouldn't! Eating other subjects of the kingdom is outlawed! Because if it weren't there wouldn't be a kingdom! Well maybe, 'cause some of the vassals don't eat meat.

[markofthewise]

Well, Hawky eats meat. But he prefers mice.

[breezing]

None of my vassals are mice! So he'll be okay in the cat kingdom!

[ Although let her pause for a second to give the horrified-disgusted-fascinated look she gets at the mention of the mice + hawky thing. This will never not happen. ]

[markofthewise]

Well then, he's glad to join!

[breezing]

Theeeeeen I have more vassals! Oh, an' you can have citizenship in our kingdom, too, Uncle Sokka. You'll be my councilman of - councils! And things.

[markofthewise]

Hmmm, I guess I should get some experience in before becoming Republic City's councilman, huh?

[breezing]

You should! The Cat Kingdom'll look really good on your - [ ...what's that word she wants ] cred-ent-ials?

Oh! An' to make it official we can dance on it! [ that's logical right ]

[markofthewise]

Ahh. Right. Dancing. [Well. Probably the only one he's going to get, so...

He holds out a hand for her to take.] My lady.

[breezing]

[ Mission halfway complete! Ikki reaches up to take Sokka's hand, giggling. ]

My uncle! [ ...well it's true. ]

[markofthewise]

[Here they go, on the dance floor. Sokka has to kind of hunch over to keep this up, though.]

You look very pretty tonight, Cat Princess.

[breezing]

[ Maybe if he's really lucky some lady of a more appropriate height will think it's cute? Either way, Ikki giggles, and just takes Sokka's other hand, too. They can improvise! ]

Thank you, Councilman Sokka! Katara helped me with my hair an' stuff!

[markofthewise]

[Which his back goes bad in ten years, it'll be all her fault.]

Well Katara did a very good job.

[breezing]

Did you see her hair, though? She's really really good at it! She and Rapunzel should have a hair date. With hair!

[markofthewise]

... yeah, Ikki. I'm sure that'll be real romantic for them.

[breezing]

Why would it haveta be romantic?

[markofthewise]

That's just how dates work, Ikki. They're romantic. Unless they're not. In which case it's a bad date.

[breezing]

None of my playdates are romantic!

[markofthewise]

Well uh. That's because you're tiny, Ikki. You're not allowed to have romantic dates until you're um. At least fift--- eighteen.

[breezing]

Fift-eighteen? [ She's definitely giggling right now. ] I want my first romantic date to be in a flying castle, then!!

[markofthewise]

Yes! And it has to be on a floating castle now. No exceptions.

[With any luck, we'll never find a floating castle.]

[breezing]

Nooooone! Where was your first romantic date, Uncle Sokka?

[markofthewise]

... actually, it was on a floating bison.

[breezing]

That's a pretty good place, if you can't get a flying castle! [ she's pretty impressed at this clear romantic skill, man. ]
