(no subject)

Who: Katie McCoy and her victims of choice.
What: Rapture, ravaging, and 'rithmetic. (Ow.)
When: Any time between 23rd September and 31st October.
Where: Any place.
Summary: Triggered by recent events, Katie's darker, more primal soul is in control and intent on sharing the love. Or the hate. Depends on your definition, really.
Rating: ...I honestly don't know. Let's make it a high PG just in case?

[First there came the wraith child,
Hands and silver hair,
Then there came the dark place,
All the hurt laid bare,
Now the soul is broken,
Torn beyond a care,
Shining now among you...

...I see you there.]

"That would be interesting. A few more weeks to climb trees and dance in rain puddles before we have to let Snowmen take the lead."

Jilly set an easy pace back towards her studio...Geordie's apartment, now. There was no rush, and it wasn't far enough to create one.

"Well, it's a pretty lonely time of year. Things are dark, and animals have moved on or gone to sleep. It's probably pretty grateful for the people who brave the snow to play outside."

She held the door open for the smaller girl as they reached the apartment, standing to one side so Katie could step into the hallway.

"I know Geordie was going to the store, but you have to meet him if he's come back. He's sharing my studio, now."

She couldn't help but laugh at that. "You've met him already, hmm? I should have known."
theoniongirl: (You make me smile)

"Not yet. Hopefully he will, soon, though. Him without his fiddle is like me without my sketchbook."

It just shouldn't be.

She wove her way up the stairs, leading the way up to her studio.

"Your walls, hmm?"

She smiled. "It is. I set it off to the side for you, in case you ever wanted to finish it."

The door isn't locked when she reaches it. Geordie doesn't really have any belongings in the apartment, and she's never been very good about locking up her place. After all....who would steal anything? And why, in a place where everything is free?

"I thought you were going to be going through my unfinished sketches."

But she doesn't sound put-out by the suggestion. Even before Luceti, Jilly had been a go-with-the-flow type of person. Always busy. Always bustling. But she'd be as likely to derail her plans for impromptu friend time as she was to follow a tight schedule, so long as no one was getting let down in the process.
theoniongirl: (You know you love to laugh.)

"That," she said with a smile, "is an excellent idea."

"Well, that's up to you. Do you feel like being neat, first, or messy?" Because, with the exception of Sophie, Jilly had yet to meet anyone who could paint without it ending up all over. ...She just happened to be worse about it than most.

"Then messy it is." She motioned over to the wall where the spare easel had been folded, the girl's unfinished painting resting beside it.

"If you want to get that set back up, I'll get the extra paints."
