EVENT LOG: SCAVENGER HUNT

Who: All you scavenger hunters!
What: Scavenging and other fantabulousness, I suppose.
When: November 24th to 28th
Where: The whole village! And yet also all over time and space...

As announced by CJ, the village's immediate environs are divided up according to this map. There are five areas: the Nile, Ice Age, Space Opera, Shogunate, and Gangland. Time-and-place appropriate architecture and conjured up NPCs exist in each area.

Don't forget the scavenger hunt! While actually finding things is ultimatly optional, you can find more information on the hunt here. If you want to claim a reward from the hunt, be sure to link at least two related threads on the new rewards claims post.

Finally, here's a quick rundown of the objects:
- In THE NILE: A ceremonial dagger and a piece of Pharoah's treasure
- In GANGLAND: A tommy gun and a set of car keys
- In ICE AGE: A bone spear and a smilodon's tooth
- In SPACE OPERA: a raygun and part of a robot
- In SHOGUNATE: a samurai sword and water from a kappa's head

Me? Beat up ninjas? Iiiii don't think that'd go over so well. [He stands up straight.] ...When did you get hair?

Really? That's weird.

[At least they hadn't given Hiccup excess hair, on top of everything else.]

It is! Well now that you've found the place, Hiccup, is there uh... anything I can get for you?

...Actually, I wouldn't mind something to eat. [He's kinda. Been in there awhile.]

Sure thing, Hiccup! Everything's all different in here now, but I'll see what I can toss together.

[Luckily a lot of their meals are Asian-styled anyways, so most of the ingredients are still around.]

[In the meantime, he walks about a bit, stretching his legs. It was pretty cramped in there. :/]

[So he'll do what he can around the Japanese-style kitchen to try frying up some vegetables.]

Sooooo. [Small talk.] Are you scavenger-hunting?

Yeah! We've been making some good time so far with the items. It's cuz we're a really great team! How about you, Hiccup?

Well...Iiii've kind of been being chased too much to really try.

[savedtheworld]

Really? So why are you being chased, Hiccup?

[dragoneer]

I wish I knew. Then maybe I could get them to stop. But people seem mad at me wherever I go, no matter what I do or say.

But I'm not mad at you, Hiccup. I just wish you'd asked before you came in.

[dragoneer]

S-sorry about that. I guess I was kind of flustered. Being chased by ninjas and all.

It's okay. At least you're safe now. And if they come back, I'll be able to help you.

[dragoneer]

Yeah, that's true. Safety in numbers, and all. I could use the back-up if they return.

[savedtheworld]

That's right, Hiccup. We're getting real good at fighting them, too, so you don't have anything to worry about. I hope you've still been able to enjoy all the sights, though.

[dragoneer]

Wait - you've been fighting lots of ninjas? Why? They're after you guys, too?

[savedtheworld]

Yeah, they come after us every now and then to try to take our items. It happens a lot around here.

[dragoneer]

Yikes. Guess I'm not even safe inside, then.

[savedtheworld]

Well they've only been attacking us when we're outside! So we should be safe in here.

[OR ARE THEY.]

[dragoneer]

Wellll, that's good, at least. But...you're sure they won't come in here?

[savedtheworld]

Nah, they usually stay in specific spots. They're not smart in the same was as us - it's hard to explain.

[A sudden banging noise, while Aang is stirring vegetables.]

Can you get the door for me, Hiccup?
