Who: All you scavenger hunters!
What: Scavenging and other fantabulousness, I suppose.
When: November 24th to 28th
Where: The whole village! And yet also all over time and space...

As announced by CJ, the village's immediate environs are divided up according to this map. There are five areas: the Nile, Ice Age, Space Opera, Shogunate, and Gangland. Time-and-place appropriate architecture and conjured up NPCs exist in each area.

Don't forget the scavenger hunt! While actually finding things is ultimatly optional, you can find more information on the hunt here. If you want to claim a reward from the hunt, be sure to link at least two related threads on the new rewards claims post.

Finally, here's a quick rundown of the objects:
- In THE NILE: A ceremonial dagger and a piece of Pharoah's treasure
- In GANGLAND: A tommy gun and a set of car keys
- In ICE AGE: A bone spear and a smilodon's tooth
- In SPACE OPERA: a raygun and part of a robot
- In SHOGUNATE: a samurai sword and water from a kappa's head

[As soon as the glitching finishes, Red doubles over, holding his sides. Maybe he's hurt worse than it seemed?]

Oogh, I think I'm gonna be sick...

[...nope. He's just never experienced teleporting. Give him a moment to recover and to make sure that the mob's lost them... there, he's getting up, albeit still shakily.]

Whew. Thanks, kid. I really do owe ya somethin'. First off, what's your name? [He's crouching and holding out a hand for her to shake... thankfully it's not the one he just had next to his injury.]

[Vanellope herself's busy catching her breath. Whew. Power caps suck when you need to make a quick escape like that!]

Name's Vanellope, Dogbreath. And I hope you're happy! That was way too close!

H-hey, it's not Dogbreath! [Even though that's technically right.] I'm Red. Nice to meet you, but it mighta been nicer if I didn't drag ya into this.

[Now that the adrenaline's wearing off, he's realizing that that really was incredibly stupid. Sure, the kid could teleport, but she was still just a kid. Probably.]

I really do owe ya somethin'. If you're doin' the scavenger hunt, I got some spare items, or I could try to get you somethin' I don't have spares of. [Red opens his bag, reaching into it and producing a couple of cookies, offering them to Vanellope. Of course, the smaller hunt items are in that bag too...] Better get some energy back first. Here.

Red, Dogbreath, Muttface, whatever. [Have an exaggerated rolling of eyes, Red.] That was close, what'd you even do to those guys huh?

[...But then he's offering her cookies, and those are always a welcome sight. Her eyes light up and she grins a little.]

Ooh. Guess you're not so bad after all. And spare items? What kind?

I kinda... got a little desperate for their stuff. [A sudden noise makes him perk his ears up, but nothing seems to come of it, so he relaxes.] Think I got what I needed, though.

Lemme see. [Red opens the bag again, looking through its non-edible contents.] I got kappa water, a bit of treasure, and a robot part. Might have some bigger stuff, but I'm keepin' that in my apartment.

[He also has an extra smilodon fang, but he's keeping that under wraps for now. Unless Vanellope sees it.]

[Peers at his bag because she really wants to see just what he's got!]

Woah, a fang! How'd you get one'a those, those guys are ferocious!

[Uh oh.]

I-it was one heck of a battle! I'm glad I won! [Really, he'd pried them from a skeleton he'd discovered. Killing's not Red's thing.] Uh, if you want one of those... well, ya did save my tail just now. I guess you can have one if ya really need it.

Really? Thanks, Mister! [She grins at him! She totally would have nicked it if he hadn't offered. But since he did, he just earned +10 cool points in her book.]

Look, I'm keepin' this one, but I'll try ta help you get another one, okay? I feel kinda bad for just takin' this offa you.

Hey, it's no problem, kid. You earned that just now. Besides, I got another one.

[She seems so eager, though. Hmm.] ...but if ya really want to, I ain't stoppin' you. They're hard to get, so I bet a buncha other people don't have 'em yet, and maybe they really want those points too.

[He pulls himself to his feet, pressing a handful of snow around his minor wound.] If you're up for helpin' other people, I'm game.
