EVENT LOG: SCAVENGER HUNT

Who: All you scavenger hunters!
What: Scavenging and other fantabulousness, I suppose.
When: November 24th to 28th
Where: The whole village! And yet also all over time and space...

As announced by CJ, the village's immediate environs are divided up according to this map. There are five areas: the Nile, Ice Age, Space Opera, Shogunate, and Gangland. Time-and-place appropriate architecture and conjured up NPCs exist in each area.

Don't forget the scavenger hunt! While actually finding things is ultimatly optional, you can find more information on the hunt here. If you want to claim a reward from the hunt, be sure to link at least two related threads on the new rewards claims post.

Finally, here's a quick rundown of the objects:
- In THE NILE: A ceremonial dagger and a piece of Pharoah's treasure
- In GANGLAND: A tommy gun and a set of car keys
- In ICE AGE: A bone spear and a smilodon's tooth
- In SPACE OPERA: a raygun and part of a robot
- In SHOGUNATE: a samurai sword and water from a kappa's head

I found a couple in a pond thing, but I think if we can find a river instead that'll work out better. They'll try to trick you into it, you've just gotta be smarter than them.

[Whoa she's excited. Sheena laughs a little, following her out the back of the house after a furtive glance around for enemy ninja.]

Okay, let's head out of the village part. Remember, we're looking for a river.

[sugarglitch]

[Nodding enthusiastically! - Oh but she's also noticing Sheena's caution. Hm.]

So what's the fastest way outta here? [She's barely been in the village a week, she doesn't quite know her way around yet!]

[corrinesbell]

[If they try to take that water from Vanellope they'll have another thing coming.]

Probably this way. It's hard to follow the landscape when everything looks so different, though.

[sugarglitch]

Yeah, I guess so. But I haven't been in this game very long, so I didn't get to explore much back when things were normal and stuff!

[corrinesbell]

In...this game? [Maybe she means the hunt and Sheena's just a little lost.] You'll get a chance. This stuff never lasts for more than a week usually.

Huh, really? What is it, some kinda weird bonus level? What happens after a week of this stuff?

[corrinesbell]

[Kid, half the stuff you're saying makes zero sense.]

Then it'll go back to normal, most of the time.

[sugarglitch]

Weird. [But she just shrugs and looks around - look, the river's coming up!]

Hey look, there's the river! [Skipping right ahead is a go!]

[corrinesbell]

Hey, be careful! You could fall in or get yanked in if they're around here.

[sugarglitch]

Ahh, don't worry! I can totally take care of myself!

[She crouches down by the riverbank and leans over the water eagerly!]

They'll grab you and pull you under if you don't pay attention, remember!
