Summary: It's a wintertime jamboree. Go ice skating. Hand out gifts to those you love. (Or want to prank, as the case may be.) Deal with meddling, creepy elves. Kiss a lot of people. It'll be good. Except for the parts where it'll be awkward. But that's what we're here for, isn't it?
Rating: Anywhere from PG to R, I imagine. If you need to play out sexytimes, please either fade to black and take it elsewhere or CLEARLY mark the thread in the subject line. (The former is preferable, but not strictly necessary.)

I suppose that's where the slang term "hammered" comes from. Some people do stagger around as if they've taken a blow to the head when drunk.

[She's glad that she's a fairly strong woman. She might have toppled over with Loki leaning on her, otherwise.]

Is there some special significance to hanging this plant up in places? I know it's highly toxic...

[Because of course, that's what she'd take the time to remember about mistletoe.]

[He looks up with dread and... groan.]

'tis a tradition for kissing. The Malnosso are doing their best to ruin it.

And as awkward as possible. I've had to kiss several people that were not pleased by the prospect.

[It's the 'had to' in that statement that gets Konan's attention, and when she goes to move, she sees that her suspicions have been confirmed. She can shift position, but she can't actually leave this spot.]

[She has never been more grateful for certain people from her world not being here than she is right now. At least she likes Loki.]

[Not without trying something extreme and she's not resistant enough to the idea of kissing Loki to try them.]

Sometimes a kiss on the cheek works. It seems to vary. [He raises an eyebrow, then leans forward to place a kiss on Konan's cheek.]

[Konan pauses while Loki kisses her cheek, then tries to move. No luck.]

...perhaps I should kiss your cheek, too?

[She tilts her head up and attempts just that.]

[Yes, this is definitely awkward, even though she thinks of Loki as a friend. She normally doesn't kiss friends on the lips.]

Well...it is what it is.

[He sighs.] Indeed.

[He leans down to kiss her on the lips, a relatively chaste kiss by his standards.]

[Konan's kiss is chaste in return, though she does slip in a hug after the kiss before testing if they can move. The kiss is out of necessity, the hug a more sincere gesture of friendship. Then she backs off and gives Loki back his personal space.]

[He goes a bit stiff and surprised at the hug, but gives no other reaction. He nods and smiles pleasantly as she steps back.]

Indeed. More care in the future to watch for the damned plants.

Quite. Hopefully, they won't be around for much longer.

[In the meantime, she has a solution - namely to fly over them. The paper she had tucked under her clothing comes out to form paper wings sturdy enough to bear her weight. As an added bonus, they serve to protect those ever-fragile wings on all of their backs. She doesn't take off right away, though.]
