Miracle on Luceti Street.

Who: Everybody! (Mostly.)
What: IT'S CHRISTMAS OR SOMETHING.
When: The 19th through the 25th. Feel free to backdate and forwarddate and everydate as you please.
Where: All over the village!
Summary: It's a wintertime jamboree. Go ice skating. Hand out gifts to those you love. (Or want to prank, as the case may be.) Deal with meddling, creepy elves. Kiss a lot of people. It'll be good. Except for the parts where it'll be awkward. But that's what we're here for, isn't it?
Rating: Anywhere from PG to R, I imagine. If you need to play out sexytimes, please either fade to black and take it elsewhere or CLEARLY mark the thread in the subject line. (The former is preferable, but not strictly necessary.)

This is your event catch-all log! Sorry it's a bit late in going up. All you really need to do is mention in your subject line what date(s) it is, so folks know if they're dealing with mistletoe or not. Feel free to set up multiple scenarios, of course. Also, as always, tag your characters!

Here is your event info, and feel free to continue asking questions there if necessary. Now go and make merry!

You can make chocolates?! That's so cool! I never thought about learning to make candy... I get what you mean, though. I only started learning to cook because usually no one else was around to do it, but it got really fun after a while. But if you're having trouble with new things...

Are you following a recipe or just like, doing stuff?

Only just recently, yes. Though it's nothing very special...just solid chocolate poured into molds and decorated a little. [Really, she got lucky in learning to make them. Chocolate-making is hard as all hell. If her skills were horrible from the beginning, Perona's sure she would have burned more than the bottom of one pan the day she first tried.] ...And I had to learn to cook. If I didn't I would have starved. The two people I was living with weren't very...accommodating when they were busy, or out.

[Training, she means. Zoro and Mihawk wander and train too damn much. Plus, with Zoro getting lost ALL THE TIME, she really did have to learn. Like hell Mihawk would have catered to her and made her food all the time she asked for it.]

And I purchased cookbooks once I possessed a ship to sail with. Or found some in the castle. Simple things I could already make.

[Not knowing the situation, Piouette is just assuming Perona lived with a pair of really lazy people.]

Like, they didn't cook at all, even though you were all living together? They sound like, super inconsiderate to make you cook all the time. Tell me they didn't make you clean everything, too! I mean, it would have been a pain to clean up a whole cas-

[It only just occurs to Pils...this girl said castle. Castle? Did she hear castle? She definitely said castle.]

...You lived in a castle?

[Well, one of them is...kind of.]

Mihawk-sama cooks. [She's only seen him do it a few times, though. Zoro, on the other hand, Perona doesn't trust to be near food. Or the stove.] But like I said, when he's away or training with the idiot, I'm stuck alone and I have to fend for myself until they return. Sometimes it's just until sundown, sometimes it's longer because the sword-bearing idiot gets lost, and Mihawk-sama's traveled off the island.

...I only clean what's mine. [Though she has, from time to time, washed Zoro's shirt, robe, and haramaki. And, finally, the last question to be answered--] The castle belonged to Mihawk-sama. The island as well, it was his own personal home.

So you're on your own a lot, too, huh...?

[She knows that feeling. Or thinks she does. It's probably not the same given their differing relationship with the people leaving them alone, but...]

It still must be kind of cool loving in a castle, though, even if it's not yours. I mean, what girl hasn't dreamed of living in a castle, even just a little...!

[Perona doesn't say much to the first comment, that's a rather heavy topic and she does not want to get into it - it'll only make her upset. The second, on the other hand, gets a lazy sort of shrug. Eh, it's all right. Mihawk's castle is pretty gorgeous, and fits her tastes to a T, but you grow used to living there after two years.]

It has its charms, though it would have been nicer with a few servants to wait on me a little bit...but I suppose that's why I have Zoro. With some, eeh...conditioning, he's rather obedient.
