It's Pancake Day!
Who: Anyone and everyone!
What: A feast of pancakes in honour of Shrove Tuesday.
When: Tuesday February 5th
Where: CH7, ground floor
Summary: Truly a feast day second only to Christmas!
Rating: PG/PG-13 for language if someone gets burned on the stove or hit by exploding magical pancake batter.
All of the ingredients have been gathered and are laid out when Max finally gets up that morning. More eggs and milk and flour than he's ever seen in one place and maybe he'd gone a bit overboard with it, but he didn't know how many people would be showing up. It wasn't as though they could use the rest of it some other time.
[OOC: Max's invitation can be found here. Essentially an open mingle post.]

Looking at you until you discover that one pancake covered in tabasco sauce and chili pepper.
And if you do, he'll do his best not to laugh too hard.]

Spicy..They are.
That doesn't seem right.
He scrunches up his face, but he's already swallowed it whole. It burns. IT BURNS. He takes a nearby pitcher of milk and downs it, still not noticing Loki nearby.]<.small>

Thor, by Odin's beard, please gander upon your pancakes first before stuffing your face with them.

How foolish of me! I have let my guard down despite knowing there are now two Lokis up to mischief.
Come over here.
no subject
Comparing my mischief with that of my older self...that is rather banal, Thor.

[Loki makes a very, very dramatic gesture, as if the world is about to end.]
But yes, let me join you for regular pancakes.
[Oh, how he wishes he had his Starkphone to get a picture of Thors face after eating the overly spicy pancake. Such a shame that such a beautiful moment would be lost forever...]

[He laughs at the gesture, rolling his eyes a little and digging back into his stack of pancakes.]
You'd best hurry before your time is up and I take the offer back.
no subject
[Loki chuckles at that and grabs two pancakes for his own.]
I am eating, Thor, I am eating.
[He stuffs a pancake in his mouth.]
Fsee?
no subject
So I see. [He smiles, chuckling as he stuffs the pancake into his mouth.] Most impressive.

Chaos does not have to be a bad thing. It is what you do with chaos.
[He chews on his pancake in a thoughtful way.]
Do you really think you are able to change his ways, Thor?
[Loki leans back in his chair, looking at the other with a bit of a frown on his face.]
He appears to be changing. Yet, is he sincere or is it a mere trick?
no subject
You know what I meant, Loki.
[He looks thoughtfully down at his pancakes, shrugging lightly.]
I do not think I may change his ways. But I believe he may change his own, once he realises how well suited he is to happiness.
no subject
I might, Thor.
[While Thor looks down at his pancakes, Loki shoves another one in his mouth and makes loud noises while eating.]
Not directly, no. Indirectly, yes.
[Loki has to think hard about this.]
It should be his choice eventually
no subject
I've learnt it's much better to observe from afar than to meddle, but I do inflict my company upon him from time to time.
[A nod as he shoves a pancake in.] There will come a time when he needs to make a choice. It may be sooner than we think.
no subject
I think so too. Very soon.
He needs friends. He just has to admit he needs them.
[Because he himself sure needs them.]
no subject
I will enjoy bearing witness to it. We can only hope he makes the right choice.
