There are a lot of plants here from other worlds that I don't know anything about. I can try, though.

[It seems like a largely hypothetical question - especially considering that just seeing the people in Luceti doesn't even begin to reveal the depths of what they actually seem to be capable of. But Jack nods in agreement all the same.]

[He pretends it doesn't feel strange having her fingers run over the ruined, puckered skin. He won't pretend he doesn't like it though and he indulges, leans into her touch like a dog starved for attention would.

With her he can be completely pathetic and she won't mock him for it. It's nice.]

[That's rough, buddy. Though Norma knows the whole "parents not really giving a damn about you" thing herself. Chasing a dream had that kind of negative consequence - so much so that she had to run away just to pursue it. It's been a few years now, since she's heard from her mother and father. Honestly, Norma's not sure if they're happy or not she left - she never heard they making any attempts to locate her.]

Because while brandishing a knife and grinning with inhuman, pointed teeth would usually have Jack mentally formulating exit strategies, he finds that he's not actually worried by the demonstration. On the contrary, the heart-racing thrill it drops down to the bottom of him isn't fear, but an entirely different kind of excitement. An appreciation.]

That's . . . generous of you. [There's a trace of pink in his face that he can't quite blame on the cold, fascinated gaze lingering on that suddenly less-innocuous sleeve before returning to Grell's face.] How can you tell when it's time?

Perhaps it's a good thing then, with how tired you seem lately. [Something says she should be chastising him more, but she just can't bring herself to do it with how happy she is to see him moving on his own right now.]

I'm afraid everyone has already eaten, but if you're willing to wait a little I could prepare breakfast for you. [That sounded like a good idea, actually.]

Morning of 11th

[Beast has been mostly staying in for these past few weeks since his birthday, so in his sluggish awakening the particular week has not been realised just yet. He's just coming downstairs just as he always does, settling himself near the fireplace as if it were any other day. He is sort of assuming that Belle is not up yet, but he hasn't yet concluded that he's up later than normal.]

[Beast's steps feel much lighter today - he doesn't notice, but everyone else likely can tell that he is in higher spirits than usual. It's amazing what can happen when you find you and your housemate under mutual... feelings? Could this really be love he's feeling? Nothing has happened with the spell, but he is not even sure he cares right now... Belle does not mind! His direction appears aimless right now, but he is heading to the library... eventually... just give him a minute to suddenly take note of the birds chirping - he never thought they sounded so nice before...]

Which is just odd, he realizes for a brief moment of clarity, because the thought of ending anyone's life should be horrifying, and . . . and he loses it, back under the soft shimmer of god she's fantastic.]
