Maybe he's been hanging around Red too much. [she did not move closer to him while speaking no of course not.]

It would be like Red to spoil my Pokémon behind my back.

He's not as irresponsible as he used to be, at least. My Pokémon may have softened up in the time they spent with him, but they also grew.
