Gold, all days!

[Gold woke up on the 11th feeling the same as any other day; initially groggy but later ready to seize the day. He knew what was coming up, but decided not to really pay it any mind. Some had come to dread the oncoming threat of Valentine's Day, but Gold saw nothing wrong with it. The holiday never did him any wrong, at least.

Over the course of the week, he goes about his day, wandering around the village and hitting up his usual haunts, visiting the Seventh Heaven, the rec center, the battle dome, and even just hanging around his house. And yet, for some odd reason, whenever he sees a girl--or possibly even a guy??--that fits certain criteria, he finds himself strangely drawn to them, even if he'd never been attracted to them otherwise.]

Some indiscriminate day

[Unlike Gold, Ruby has no prior experience with Luceti, so he plans to spend it like any other: going about his business, and perusing the flowers that haven't been picked over on the day after Valentine's. He'll make something out of them, maybe.

Right now he's on his way back to the house with a bag full of groceries... either staring at them with a puzzled look on his face, or though them - it's hard to tell with him.

[And of course he's going to instinctively preserve himself over the groceries, so when he goes for a spill, they do too.]

Oh no please tell me nothing spilled. Did the eggs crack, too?

...Are you okay, Senior? [Ruby don't you mean "Are my clothes okay"? Isn't that normally your priority? Hmm-]

[Gold, being the one coming out of the house, manages to catch himself against the frame of the door at least.]

Y-yeah... 'm fine.

[...There it is again: the sensation he's been experiencing on and off again all day today.

Best not to dwell on it, he's got a potential mess to clean. Yes. That's what needs to be tended to right now. He crouches by the bag to survey the damage.]

Looks like I can preserve some of the eggs at least, put them in a bowl maybe. Those heart-shaped cookies they had are broken, though. [He sighs. Messes]

Well, there's nothin' that can be done about that. We'll just have to get some more. [Yes, he said 'we'.]

It's not that big of a deal really. I just picked them up on the way out because they were there, and I thought someone in the house might like them. [He really isn't the biggest fan of sweets.]

No way. I can't let somethin' like this stand. Besides, the eggs you have left won't last anyway.

[ Madoka has to wonder if anything is wrong, honestly. At first it doesn't seem all that bad, and it's not like she suddenly feel any particular love towards someone out of nowhere, so maybe it's different and better from last year's? She knew hoping would help! No way this is going to be an embarassing repeat of last year's disaster with Ayumu, nope, no way!

So she's reasonably cheerful as she goes out today. And that's when she spots-- ]

Ah, Gold-s-- .. Gold! [ Something else in her almost feels.. pinged though when she sees him. She's not entirely sure, but somehow she can't stop staring at his hat for a moment or two.. ]

[Gold turns in Madoka's direction once he hears his name called. The moment his eyes set on her--or more specifically, her pigtails--he can feel his heart beat quickening. Like seeing Madoka is suddenly making his heart race. Why? He wasn't sure.]

Oh, hey there!

Um.. are you out today too..?

[ She isn't sure what it is, but something makes her a little more nervous than usually. Enough to make her fret with the ruffles of her clothes awkwardly as she talks, giving him a tiny smile. ]

Ahh... Yeah! [He rubs the back of his head.] Gotta seize the day and all that, you know!

Ehehe, t-that's right. And it's a pretty special day today too, isn't it..? [ D-d'oh, wait, now she's only making it more awkward by bringing that up, isn't she?! ]

You got that right. [Time to throw on some of that Gold charm.] It's a really special day today! It's a day celebrating love, you know!

[ Ding ding ding, bullseye right in the heart. Judging by the way she starts to blush when he says that, either way, Madoka just wears her heart on her sleeve. ]

Y.. yes, love! D-do you celebrate it that much?

[Well, seeing as these two do happen to live in the same house, and this is one of those moments where Crys isn't right next to Silver, she'll just be coming downstairs to grab some munchies for her Pokemon. And then she notices Gold.] Hey, Gold. Not up to much today?

Actually, I've got a couple people to see! It'd be a shame to keep them waiting for too long!

[It's at that moment that he turns to face Crys and then it suddenly hits him. He turns to face her now, and WOW. He always held some sort of attraction to Crys, but it never felt quite like this. Just what was going on?

He falls silent now.]

Oh? Like who? [Hmmmm, looking through the cupboards. Where did they keep the Pokechow again... wait, why is Gold quiet?] Something wrong? You suddenly went quiet. And believe me, that's weird for you.

[...Guh, he'll just have to ignore it. He knows she'll never feel the same way, so there's point even trying to dwell on those feelings, no matter how much they eat at him.]

It's nothin'. Just some lady friends, that's all!

[Now on a normal day, Crys would feel a twinge of jealousy. Today, however, is not a normal day.] Really? Have fun, then! If it's anyone I know, tell them I said hello.
