[It's either fortunate or unfortunate that this isn't during a warmer season instead, given Aang and his friends' propensity towards losing shirts then. Instead, Aang is just wearing some winter clothing, but nothing too heavy since he was practicing Firebending.

Still, it's nice to see her smile. And he rubs at the back of his bald head nervously.]

Yeah! I never told you about bending, did I? You could say it's kind of like magic, but it feels a lot more natural to us. Basically, in my world there are benders who can control move the elements through martial arts! And... fire's an element. Of course! [He adds with a quick, nervous laugh.]

[She chuckles a little as well, trying her best to be reassuring. It is rather adorable, the way he explains fire unnecessarily. Very adorable.]

Of course. [And she holds her own hands out, allowing green flames to dance in her hands.] In my world, there are those of us capable of creating fire through magic as well. Though I do not need to harness the martial arts to do so.

[Aang is always easily impressed; but something about fire - so violent, so dangerous - is appealing to him oddly. Fire's so cool. She's cool.]

Hey, that's really cool! Your fire's really green.

[She blushes a little, looking quite pleased with his response.]

All my magic usually is.

Really? What other kinds of things can you make with magic? [It's all so exciting and mysterious.]

[A demonstration! She's become rather fond of those.]

Do you have a favorite flower, perhaps?

A flower? [He's not sure where this is going, but he answers with a smile.] Do you know what a panda lily is? I think that's my favorite.

[thehandmaiden]

[Oh. She wishes that she had spent more time in the library researching flowers. Disappointment in herself is an unfamiliar feeling. One she decidedly does not like.]

Is that anything like a Midgardian lily?

[Aang doesn't really feel disappointed at least; he's used to realizing by now that most worlds have different stuff than he is. And he at least knows that the normal varieties of flowers seem to be the same in most worlds.]

If you mean the normal kinda lily, it does look like that! Except it has white petals that are black on the edge.

[Ah. Her face brightens a little. If the difference is within the color of the petals, than perhaps she can provide Aang with the desired panda lily.

A green tinted lily, much the same color as her flames had been, appears in her open palms a second later. It hovers and rotates in the air.]

Is this satisfactory?

[And he stares at it for a moment, some slight scarlet starting to show in his cheeks. Then he smiles.]

Yes, Leah... It's beautiful!

[The compliment makes her own cheeks warm. It is such a nice, nice feeling to be actually appreciated and treated with such niceness.]

[He reaches out to try to poke at the magical flower with his pointer finger, although he will stop if told to.]

[She does not stop him, nor make any attempts to. But Leah does provide a warning:]

It is not substantial in structure. The lines will flicker if you touch it.

Oh. [He pokes at it anyway with a slight frown and watches the flicker.] I thought you made it real. [But he gives a reassuring smile as he withdraws his hand.] But I still like it!
